Please Lordwilliem. How did you do your reservation concerning accommodation? Did you do a book and pay later? If yes. Please how? Thank you
lordwilliem:

He said I should write him and email explaining in detail about the visa delay then we can only try but no guarantee to see if momentum will forward the date.

hi guy,
Momentum will change the start date if your health insurance to the time you enter the republic. you only need to present the evidence to prove that ...e.g your visa. I have done that before.

I tire oh. That's about 14weeks. Both insurance, application fee, SAQA evaluation fee because mine is master's. One has spent a lot . though I heard as far as one has not done registration, the insurance will not start counting.

This one your sister's own is undergraduate, let's be hopeful. That's hope they have not resume in her school?

Yes I remain hopeful.
Re: General South Africa Visa Enquiries by Mimicle101: 7:34am On May 15, 2019
Diamond1960:
Your sister should prepare for 2020 for her resumption since most undergraduate students are commencing their exams this month.

But if I may ask. How about the visa. If she is to prepare for 2020 would she stil be granted the visa. Cos after paying so much and both school fees would all that be a waste? Cos I was never aware that visa can take 3 months and stil counting. Wouldn't that mean they are intentionally doing that

I didn't do any reservation. Someone I know over there send me his house details which I used for my accommodation.

I want to sincerely thank everybody that gave useful contributions on this thread. I wanted to use an agent initially and I was told 150k, out of annoyance I came to this thread, read as much as I could and started the process immediately myself.

Application Date: 14th March
Calls from S.A Embassy : Yes (A month and some weeks after).
Visa category : Visiting
Duration : 15days
Exceeded date of departure on application: Yes
Date received : 14th May.
Key: Just be patient, study all documents you sent when applying, answer all questions corrected when being called.

That's all!!

don’t worry, your sis will get the visa, since you guys already paid school fees. Try and see if the school can write them on you guys behalf.

Yes, they asked the following questions:

Are you so so so person?
Where do work?
What's your role?
What's the address of your work place?
What year did you start working there?
What's the name of your M.D?

I answered all perfectly, and at the end asked if there were more questions. She said no and thanked me.

Lagos is 3 months statement, and Abuja is 6 months. And acct balance should be nothing less than 1 million.

To everyone waiting for study visa, I hope we get good responses quickly. I applied on the 8th of March and this is my 10th week too. I' plan to visit the VFS office today or tomorrow to get any explanation. I also emailed the Consular General yesterday but no reply yet. I pray it will end in praise.

Hope u doing well.

Please did u visit the vfs? Is there any explanation maybe regarding the delays
Re: General South Africa Visa Enquiries by mroyato(m): 7:20pm On May 15, 2019
Go to the vfs application center and present your slip at the passport collection area. There they will confirm whether your visa is ready or not.

Option 2 which will take some weeks tho. Write to your school and explain your situation to them. Tell them when you applied and ask them to write the home affairs on your behalf.

lordwilliem:

@Mimicle

I tire for these people ooo, I applied for study visa too since 8/2/2019, and mine is still not out yet. This is the 14 week already.
May God help us ooo.

Thank you very much. This is a good idea, I will go to their office first and the outcome is what will determine the next step.
