Japsylee: I fly in and out of Houston almost on a weekly basis, it’s a breeze if you’re honest. God will not see anyone through if they have obtained a visa through fraudulent means or are willfully choosing to abuse their visa. 4 Likes |

Has anyone sent the change of intent letter recently. I applied for vacation in November last year 2018 with hubby and my LO. the Vo actually asked us if we were going to use the us for medical assistance and we said we would if we got pregnant. She advised us against taking insurance and granted us visa. Now, I got pregnant the following month. I'm due to travel. Soon alone with my LO. My husband will join us later My poe is Atlanta. Any advice for us |

Anonymousdonor: The change of intent letter is a Nigerian contraption. It’s not read or attached to your application. Since you did truthfully indicate your intent to have your child in the US during your interview, you should be fine. Make sure you have enough funds to show at your Poe (location does not matter), evidence of a doctor/hospital you intend to use and stay away from cheap “discount” birthing hospitals. Good luck! 5 Likes |

Reine22:My last pregnancy, if I were abroad what happened wouldn’t have happened (in a government hospital and so called best private hospital) so for that reason alone I will never stay in Nigeria for birthing once I’m advancing I move straight. So For some people it has to do with the health care 3 Likes |

chloe00: Reine22: lol!...Are you minding the covered-up excuse? If really Nigerians were desperately giving birth abroad just for the healthcare and not mainly for the US or Canadian Passport then they would have tried to give birth in other advanced countries like the UK, France or even Spain. But as we all already know that those European countries do not give citizenship by just soil. 1 Like |

Re: Give Birth In USA: Cost And Procedures Part 6 by Nobody: 5:43pm On May 15, 2019 |
Beautyaddy:I know some people who actually do this and it’s not within the US, it’s to Nigeria , so it’s a possibility |

Re: Give Birth In USA: Cost And Procedures Part 6 by Beautyaddy: 6:10pm On May 15, 2019 |
chloe00: Healthcare is more expensive in the US than the UK...and this goes for people paying out of pocket. People who didn't mind not getting the UK passport but gave birth in the UK paid way cheaper then they would have paid in the US. So all those people jumping the bandwagon to get discounted child birth health care in the US will meet their fate with the US visa officers when it's time to renew. |

Beautyaddy:On which authority is this ? I was resident in the Uk so I know that if you don’t have NHS or insurance you cover you’re cutting your throat to pay and you’re paying up to £20k, before I resorted to Canada by first option was the UK , I won’t do this argument with you because you obviously don’t know what you’re talking about , healthcare being expensive is relative you cannot say healthcare in the Uk is cheaper than the USA when you can go to the USA and birth with 5500 dollars and return |

Hi guys, please i need a response please pookie007: |
Re: Give Birth In USA: Cost And Procedures Part 6 by Nobody: 10:19am On May 16, 2019 |
pookie007: My personal advise is that, with a due date of Dec, just fill in another DS160 and reapply even though you already have a valid visa. Your new application will be specifically for medical...take your doctor and hospital correspondences and bank statements showing ability to pay...try and get a hospital where the charges are at least 10 to 15k dollars. I believe reapplying gives you credibility that you're not trying to sneak in...even though B1/B2 is for multiple uses. I did this in Dec 2017 even though I had a visa that was still valid till Apr 2019 then. I was given. I again reapplied this year (just to be in sync with my family members who were reapplying) and got a renewal just this May...thank God......in the midst of many denials. Some others may say just go...sebi you already have a visa...just tell them at POE...that is their view. All the very best. |

Re: Give Birth In USA: Cost And Procedures Part 6 by OmoBendel24: 11:32am On May 16, 2019 |
Seems there's a new development now, namely; wait time (between one B1/B2 visa refusal and application for another of same category) adjustment from 6 to 12 months in the offing maybe, and a dichotomy in the dates allocated to applicants for renewal and those for normal applications. Dunno exactly, just speculating on what/where the attached image may just be headed.... N.B// This is for Abuja as of about now
