Lebron. A Young Core of three potential stars. Cap space for a superstar. No. 4 pick. You lot really think the king isnt coming back with a vengeance? We will lay waste to the West destroying everyone in our path. |

The Pelicans now have the ability for a do over. If AD isn't interested in staying even with the prospect of Zion, my opinion is to trade him. If the Celtics can throw in Tatum then I'll listen to them but if not the Knicks have the best chance of getting AD. Their third pick(which will be Ja or RJ) plus Robinson and 3 first round picks (both picks conveying from Dallas and the Knicks 2020 first round pick) for AD will be huge rebuilding blocks. Now with the new lottery format, all these picks could turn out to be lottery picks. But if they do not want to gamble due to this new format, they can also ask for DSJ+ Robinson+ 2019 3rd pick+ 2 first round picks in 2020. As long as the Knicks get KD any of this trade will be beneficial for both franchise. 2 Likes |

Re: The NBA Begins by Khanben: 5:14pm On May 15, 2019 |
aliondo: . David Griffin will prefer the Knicks package to that of nearly every other team, as long as the Celtics do not include Tatum |

Khanben: That is exactly why he gets paid around 10 million a year by ESPN. He brings the drama and honestly, it got me cracking. For those who have not seen the video, here is the link. https://twitter.com/stephenasmith/status/1128471428901351424 |

Khanben:But according to Stephen A, the Knicks have a 95% chance of landing both KD and Kyrie. If so, the Knicks are out of this conversation. |

Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 6:15pm On May 15, 2019 |
Khanben: First of all Tatums trade value isnt what it used to be given his recent performances his stock has plummeted. Secondly the whole pelicans like Tatum more than any other young player in the league is a rumor that even if it was true for dell demps isnt true for david griffin. And in what universe do you expect zion to be a third pick? LOOL! You are just making baseless assumptions. |
Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 6:20pm On May 15, 2019 |
Khanben: Do you understand how salary cap works? How do you expect to pay AD Kyrie and KD? Maybe they should have a supporting cast of cream crackers and saltines yes? |

KarnThornheart: The Knicks will gladly pay the luxury tax if they can get those 3 because they not only become guaranteed champions but also will be making money selling out MSG . The warriors are gladly doing that right now. |

Khanben:3 supermax contracts? Can they afford that? And I don't think any of those stars would be willing to be shortchanged at this point of their career. |
Re: The NBA Begins by benji93: 10:28pm On May 15, 2019 |
Why does chris carter undermine the GSW whenever they win, oh the rockets are no longer a great team because they got bounced by GSW without KD. I think he is fast becoming a Kawhi-sexual now. Thinking the raptors are a better team than the GSW, even without KD, i will take my chances with Kawhi, score 50 if you can. and as far as i know, until the bucks actually win the title , i am not sold on them. Chris Boussard made an excellent point too, although the san antonio spurs were not a very good team individually, led by a washed up Duncan, they beat a more talented Heats team. Given a really good coach, a system could defeat a group of talents, it's just that it's incredibly hard ot make a system self-sustaining. |

What do the Pels do at this point? Trade AD still? Will Julius Randle have a future in that team? Personally if I can move AD for picks and Tatum, Brown then it's all good. I think those boys can improve away from the high expectations and bad energy of Kyrie Tatum really needs to work on his shot selection though |
