People residing in Abuja I just got information that someone was posted to the Abuja consulate for interview. All he did was to put his location as Abuja when booking.
Edit: He later said he booked under category A and and said yes he has scholarship even without scholarship, hoping to explain to the Vo on the day of his interview

But I never saw applicant choosing location by himself.

With Category A, there is an option to select Abuja. Category B doesn't have that option.

I'm currently in a fix right now. Just applied for appointment at the embassy but did booking with my expired passport and I'm yet to receive my renewed passport which should be around next week. Now I was just informed that my passport number will likely change( I wasn't aware about this) as against the one I used in booking appointment. What do you guys think I should do? The passport expired 2017. Should I cancel the appointment or mail them and explain.
Nothing to worry about. Just go with both passports. Don't cancel and rebook cos there are a lotttttttttttttttt of people who booked since last week and haven't gotten dates yet.
So just go with both passports on ur date. And show them to your VO. normally, ur new passport would carry all old information.
Someone here has done that before, and is currently in DE

What day did he get? Cos I'll like to keep up with this story. For saying he has a scholarship when he doesn't cos I have friends who booked that category A too.

This might have worked for one person! But towing this path might cause more harm than good!

Be honest in your application. Don’t let us be unfortunate!

Now I'm confused as on which step to take. I feel it's a risk worth it and show them my previous passport. But on here, some people have advised otherwise. Thank you bro.

Hello,

Kindly disregard what anyone says here! What is most important is what the embassy said in the mail to you. Especially about unmatched passport number and details!

Going with your two passport doesn’t guarantee you’d be allowed to interview! You might be asked to go back and reapply! Do you want to take that risk?

Pray for wisdom!

Pls I have question concerning daad.de. Are there other gernan universities giving international students admission that are not listed in daad.de, like is it possible to search for German schools outside that website? I'm observing some Electrical engineering courses on this thread that I haven't seen there before

Secondly, anybody that want to send doc to Kassel through uniassist should pm me. This cost of posting is not easy o.

Bro, I am sending to uni assist. What’s your location?
Re: General German Student Visa Enquiries Part 6 by sassy92(f): 12:53pm On May 16, 2019
I sincerely doubt that the VO will listen to him. Please tell him to cancel the appointment and book under the right category or face getting bounced on his interview day. Also, it's been said here that some scholarship recipients do get interviewed in Abuja (even before this new booking system)
