The only thing associated with sitting on any throne legitimately is having a right to it. Kings are Queens are born, not made. The exception being real life conquerors like Cyrus the great or fantasy conquerors like Aegon.

The only downside from D& D was the way they crammed so much into the final season. It wad reported that HBO wanted to pay more for them to create extra seasons but D& D turned it down. They must have their reasons tho.
