Hello guys.. I have been a silent follower on this thread. I think it's time for me to be very active. Congrats to all who have received their PPR. This is the stage I am in my PR Application: ECA Report - Received April 2019 IELTS Result - Received May 10, 2019 (after three attempts) CRS Score - 475 EE Pool - May 13, 2019. I have a challenge however, and I'll love for the gurus to help me out. When I received my ECA report, I discovered 2 errors. My Date of birth on the ECA report for my WAEC stated January 1991, but the correct date of birth is January 1992. Also, my year of undergrad certificate clearly stated July 2011, but the ECA report stated 2012. I sent WES an email highlighting these errors. They responded stating that there were no errors in the report and that no changes would be made. How do you advise I go about it? Do I prepare a letter when submitting supporting documents explaining these errors? Would this be an issue? I really need opinions pleaseeeeee Many thanks. |

Please my people am waiting for the next draw as my point is 938 through nomination. What can one do if your spouse is in separate country for case of medical and police report. I need to prepare before ITA comes. Thank you. 3 Likes |

The spouse does medicals wherever they are. For police reports, you get one for every country you've spent at least 6 months in. Shanzzy: |

@canadaman18, Now I see where I got it a bit wrong. Eligibility Students who have graduated from a Saskatchewan institute You may qualify in this sub-category if: You've graduated from a recognized post-secondary educational institution in Saskatchewan with: A certificate; A diploma; or A degree. You've worked for a minimum of 6 months (or 960 hours) of paid employment in Saskatchewan. Eligible types of work experience in Saskatchewan include: On- campus; Off-campus; Co-op terms; Graduate fellowships that can be verified by your institution; and Work experience gained on a post-graduate work permit. You currently hold a valid post-graduation work permit from Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) You have a current, permanent, full-time job offer in your field of study from a Saskatchewan employer. The job should be: In an occupation in the National Occupation Classification (NOC) Matrix level "A", "B", "0" or In a designated trade, or A job offer that is related to your field of study and requires post-secondary education. Food and Beverage Servers/Persons must apply under the Hospitality Sector Project sub-category. You have a valid SINP Job Approval Letter. You must have a minimum language score of Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) 4 if your job offer is in a NOC "C" occupation. canadaman18: |

Good day to you all, I applied for the normal Canada visa, I got a mail the next day that my profile was review and impress by my work experience as Tax officer and my college degree, that am qualified for Federal skilled workers class, And I should commence other process. But my fear is I have HND in computer science but I have worked with State internal revenue as a Tax officer. Please do you think i can fit in with such competitive pool? Also the payments in both first and second stage of (995 USD) is also worrisome. Just need your kind advice thanks... |

chikcutie: Guys please help out here....what can be done about this please? I'm having a similar issue too, except I have not done the ECA yet, in my own situation the date of birth on my WAEC certificate says 10th, while my correct date of birth is 11th of the same month and the same year. My correct date of birth is reflected in my other records including my passport and birth certificate. How do I go about it so that the error does not give me any conflicting DOB issues?? Dear have you got any help on this yet? |

Maybe you swear an affidavit and attach it as well. My opinion. kentoski: |
Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 8 by tolfa(m): 5:57am On May 18, 2019 |
chikcutie: Well, I will say that from experience, WES picks the DOB on the transcripts prior to the WAEC era as part of requirements and I guess the issue with your graduate date must have come from your transcript possibly, if you can find out what was written on your transcript it will give an insight to why 2012 was stated instead of 2011. As per your DOB, you might have to go back to the source which is WAEC to correct it and then probably get WES notified because I think it was due to DOB discrepancy that led to WAEC certificate as part of requirements. DOB means date of birth. |

For sharing of ideas, I had same issue; different days, same month and year. However, I already swore an affidavit in 2008 which I attach to the certificate anytime I'm presenting it. I included the affidavit and also noted it in my letter of explanation. That should suffice. Ircc understands these things that errors do occur and WAEC will no longer issue a certificate twice, rather I learnt you'll only get an attestation of results like they gave PMB. If you want to manipulate your age, I doubt it's the day you will change. It'll rather be the year, isn't it They know a red flag if they see one kentoski: 1 Like 1 Share |

So I'm wondering why WES would state a different thing. Should I just wait till when I'm submitting my documents and prepare a letter explaining the discrepancy. I plan on attaching my original birth certificate to also prove this. What do you guys think? I'm really in a fix here! |

Hi guys. Please I renewed the passport (that still bears my maiden name) last year instead of it carrying my changed name. Reason: I was told I will have to go to Abuja and it would take a while to get and it cost 53k, I didn’t have such money as at then and WES was requesting for int’l passport and credentials at that time. My question is, my kids’ birthday certificate carries my husband’s surname, even though I have documents to prove change of name, will this *raise* a flag for our EE application? Thank you. No it shouldn't affect your application. Women taking their husband's surname is a choice not the law. You can submit the documents, affidavit etc that you have to show you're the same person CheesyTee: 6 Likes |

playces:I believe so. I did the same. As long as your whatever Evaluation organization confirms from your school that you actually participated in academics and your workplace does a reference letter that shows you worked full time. I also added payment slips to show i worked fulltime (21/20 days). I remember asking this same question a while a go... September 2018... Didn't get a response. Thought i use my experience to help. Hope this is of help. 4 Likes 1 Share |
