Why not treat and obtain report while the victims are recovering. In an organized society you dial 911! The medical, firefighters and police team will come over to save lives. Try that at your own peril in this country.

Agreed, I can't just imagine why an average Nigerian's brain is filled with tribalism and religious sentiments during elections and when serious national issues are on the table, meanwhile the realities are far from what we consider during elections.

A country whose leaders and majority of followers, and youths especially trade hatred and intentionally use historical event as a tool for unforgiveness and revenge in place of innovation and progress will only have a long long way to go.

Well this is not about Nigerian police i think is about the profession. I was in one of the African countries that i so much admire most of their system unfortunately this kind of shit happen over their. Nigeria case is even better than theirs in this aspect because i was told that if someone her hit by moving vehicle or so, you dare not touch the person in an attempt to rescue him. It is said that is only doctors, subject to police approval can touch the victim.
