PPP has nothing to do with currency, You goofed up for saying that.ppp just shows the overall domestic price level for a basket of goods according to their consumption patterns in any country which are relative to some other chosen country's currency (normally US dollar).

Developing countries have relatively lower prices of these non-tradable goods and services. While developed country have higher prices.
