Yeah, all rough workings would be done on the question paper customized with your names. The questions and OMR sheet would be collected afterwards.

BUK, ATBU, FUD. The attachment below is a cropped screenshot of the cut-off mark which makes one eligible to write FUD's postutme.

*Federal University, Dutse.
Thanks. But I am thinking of UI or I don't have chance there?

Hello everyone! My daughter scored 258 in her post utme. She will like to study mbbs. Does she have a chance to write post utme in Oau. If she does very well in the post utme,Can she be admitted with that utme? Thanks.

Change her school to a state University, and let her score at least 80% plus in put me to get mbbs

Please what are my chances of gaining admission into ahmadu bello university zaria mbbs with 281
Though u have a nice score, it all depends on the state u come from and ur performance in post utme. U wouldn't have problems with post utme since in ABU, u write the same subjects u did in jamb.

Whatever it is, don't be satisfied with ur jamb score or catchment whatever, just prepare for post utme as if u scored 230 in jamb and as if u come from a non catchment area. ABU is very notorious for changing destinies(i was once an applicant there).

But don't forget, u have a nice jamb score.

There's definitely a chance, albeit steep. With your present score you would have needed to score 84 in the post utme to beat last year's cut-off mark.

Your target this year should be 86 or 87.

I wish you the very best.

guys pls can I get mbbs in oau with 250 and two sittings?
if not, which school can I choose?
OAU accepts 2 sittings. That's a fact.

But I cannot guarantee you that you'll get admission on merit with 250.
If you want my candid advise, do a change of course.
But if you're sure that you'd have done more after having 250 in jamb, that is, you probably would've made like 290 to 300 if not for sickness, lateness or etc, then don't change course.
But realistically, 250 for jamb, oau? You're not gonna make it.

I will strongly advise you to change to Uniabuja with this your 313 if your Olevel is 1 sitting and not all C6
300+ is a sure ticket to mbbs there, no post Utme, just Olevel grading. In fact, you can resume before they release the list sef grin grin

I don't think there is another med school in the country where all lecturers right from 200-600L are mbbs holders except this school. Student to Cadaver ratio of as low as 5:1, Fully accredited with nice TH.

If your initial school of choice does putme early like dem ilorin or oou, do the post Utme their first, if it's not pure change to a late putme school, that's if it's still allowed. Just make sure you don't waste that score. Mbbs admission gets tougher yearly. You may not have the opportunity to shoot a Buffalo twice
All the best kiss
thanks bro will consider doing that

thanks bro I scored 313 this year
there we go again still yet to make up my mind on choice of school
If you really used your head, 313 says a lot.
Choose a school that's competitive.
Put OAU.
It's not the best in the country, but you'll be opportune to meet people of like minds there.

You want a school that will keep you on your toes from the word go...
You also want a school that will give you an enabling environment plus an all round experience.

I'd not advise Udus, or Abuja.
Go for competition... Oau, UI, UNN.
So far say na your head you use.

Last last, na your choice.
You made a good result... Strive to go to a good university.

For you to make 300+ two years in a row, says you're good enough.
Do not, because of competition, start thinking of low schools.

And don't take heed to anyone that tells you that school na school. That's a blatant lie.
From what you just said, you know for yourself that a little more push in post-ume preparation can give you admission anywhere, and even in the university where the cut-off is 300. Just a little more push.

I hope you're not working...
If you're working (chasing money) and preparing for post-ume, e no go easy ooo.

Those that made good scores in jamb and are working, are advised to leave work for now and focus on post-ume.

If you are coming across this post two things must have happened

You are about to sit for jamb and you chose OOU as one of your University choices

You just passed jamb and you want to know more about OOU.

Lest I forget it's possible that you didn't also pass jamb but still decided to look up your preferred University. I have a good news for you click here to check.

Congratulations to those who made it through the Jamb gateway. It's okay to be happy now but you still have one more hurdle to cross which is the OOU post jamb.

We are happy to inform you that we have created a whatsapp group where you can meet up with aspirants like you and also get more information about OOU Admission.

Another Good news is that Prior to the OOU Post jamb, Ogunobservers will be giving out past questions and answers for free

Tell your daughter nothing is impossible. It's the OAU(dubbed "Oba Awon Universities", which translates as King of Universities) she's applying to, she had better buckled up. I wish your daughter the very best. See my post above this, your daughter could apply to FUD, who knows?

Ps: MBBS(Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery) or MBChB(Medicinae Baccalaureus; Baccalaureus Chirurgiae) is a degree you get after studying Medicine and Surgery(Course of Study). Those are the variants of the degree awarded by Nigerian Universities, the former being English and the latter, Latin. OAU, OOU are examples of Universities that award the Latin variant.

Pls what is the difference between the two types of degrees u mentioned?

They are equivalents of each other. There's no difference. The only difference is in the language the degrees are written in.
