Not once did this woman mention marriage or relationship in her post, yet people on NL have already married her off, and decided she can't run a home because she hasn't gone to the market or cooked in months. In fact, some have even decided how many children she should have. What's the desperation with this marriage matter that you want to start living a stranger's life for her? Na wah o.. 15 Likes 1 Share |

When a lazy and uncultured lady is speaking , you will know. I am a bachelor, I work and I still cook once or twice a week. This is the type am sharing flat with that will eat and leave plate in the sink for two or days before is washed. After they will say no husband while they don't worth having as a just maid . 2 Likes 1 Share |

Oluromantic: I'm so tired of this bullshít. Cooking is not part of womanhood. It's part of adulthood. Any adult should be able to get in the kitchen to cook for themselves because it's a vital life skill. Valued by who? Women were not put on this earth to please men and model themselves to be what you consider to be pleasing. If those the four things you listed are gone, there is no empty barrel left. Just a flawed human being is there. Just like everyone else. And people wonder why some women are obsessed with their looks, always stressed about being pleasant and nice to men who are basic strangers, having to be top chefs in the kitchen, and have to be faithful even when their spouse isn't. Smh. 15 Likes 3 Shares |

AntiBrutus: It's not as if the women like to stress themselves so much, but some have very unsupportive spouses who don't help at all. You'll be surprised these same women NEED to work( note: not want to work) . Their wages are needed to send the children to decent schools, contribute to the rent etc. Many cannot afford to outsource housework, and especially going to the market and cooking as every dime saved matters. I'm very sure women who have very rich husbands, or who earn a lot to cater for all their responsibilities and still have more than enough left afterwards will have no problem outsourcing chores, cooking etc.. Such women usually have cooks, nannies, drivers etc anyway. Until you have a family you're responsible for, you can't say for sure if you will outsource or not. It all depends on your finances and the total family income coming in. 8 Likes 2 Shares |

Great write-ups over there. The truth is that there is no crime in outsourcing things thereby affording ourselves the opportunity of channelling our energy to more productive activities. Outsourcing provides job opportunity to that individual or organization handling such and I guess its a win win situation for everyone involved. Not a crime if she hasn't cooked for months and I don't think that would make her loose her cooking skills or interests. 3 Likes |

Please where do I plant kisses for you. I have existed enough to see my mom and older women generations to know that the joys of motherhood or womanhood is not death sentence but a woman gracious to herself and live long enough for her children. I am not for suffer head o If I am also bringing coin of the realm to the table my dear, we will share responsibilities. AntiBrutus: 4 Likes |

eyinjuege:I agree with your points. The most important thing here is for people to marry the person who values them, supports their aspirations and is willing to accept their disposition to marriage. It would be a type mismatch for the lady to marry someone who loves homemade meals. You need to understand the love language of the person you want to marry and ask yourself if you can meet up. There are men who do not care about these things. We need to understand that our disposition to these things are mostly influenced by how we are brought up, the environment we have lived in and the things we cherish. If someone prefers manual approach to taking care of the home rather than using machines, respect them for it. If they prefer otherwise understand with them. So far as they are not imposing the approach on you there should not be a problem. I see people bashing those who are stressed because of housework and using Regina as their model. This is how people set themselves up for failure. What is the rate of success in model you have adopted for yourself? How many people have a successful relationship and career using such model? Are you sure of the outcome of your marriage if you follow that path in the next 10 to 15 years time? 6 Likes |
