When was the last time he had a good game in the GWG. National team form is different from club form. Here we talking about the national team

Pass tense. We are talking about current form. That matters.

Omeruo is making la Liga team of the week ahead of defenders in top clubs with motm to crown it.

How is he a calamitous defender?

You guys tagging forgiveness a tribalist, you would not see him defending omeruo now ooo.

It goes to show that some of you don't know how to argue intelligently and will look for bland tags like "hater", " bigot " ot "tribalist" against the other person

Omeruo is decent and moving to leganes has really improved his game. I forsee him getting interest from bigger teams in LA Liga next season.

I might have called forgiveness a tribalist before I don't remember sha but if so I have already eaten my words long ago

My problem with forgiveness na all this him kayode and awoniyi issue and his arguement of smaller league his arguement of man of the match award and forgiveness self sabi twist arguement to win am

Omeruo is not the only player he has defended he has defended 3 others players who are omeruo tribe

But finally finally forgiveness na big problem and him own dey him body just like me self .

Currently we need more central defender in the team to tighten things up in that position. It seem getting tomori to play for us will be a tough one but the nff and Rohr should not give up on him.

Felix udokhai and tosin adarabioyo are another two that has the qualities to be top defenders in the nearest feature and should be sounded out once again. Getting them seem more realistic than tomori who is highly rated and monitored by the English fa.

After the afcon, the nff and Rohr if he remains with the team should build towards infusing decent young talents to the team with 2022 world the sole target. Mikel, balogun and ighalo's days are numbered and need to be replaced.

The likes of oshimeh, awoniyi and onuachu should fight for ighalo's position after afcon

Adarabioyo and udokhai should battle for balogun spot

I forsee any of offorbour and bashiru having a good outing in Poland and will be touted to be heir to our aging skipper mikel

Also some good players will emerge from the U23 Team with the likes of Bonaventure Dennis and Okereke already in Rohr's sight

Other players such as ebere eze, ovie ejaria, bonke, Abdul zubairu, igbekeme, onomah should be closely monitored

We really have no CB crisis at the moment. None of those guys u mentioned is as good as Awaziem, maybe they are on par with that Ezeagu boy, Ozornwafor. I rate uduokhai highly though and I'm so convinced he would turn out for the Eagles after the U21 Euros, bkus he is of Edo descent. Like I once told u guys, their is something about Edo sons born outside Nigeria, they tend to be more Nigerian unlike Igbos and Yorubas, hence they easily choose to rep Nigeria over their country of births. Kudos muat go to their parents for bringing them up that way. Those kids look to value their Edo(Nigerian) root more.

Tomori isn’t interested and Adarabioyo is an over hyped crap.

In that midfield, add Aribo

Sorry bro I missed aribo, he ought to be my number 1 pick. Aside omeruo, ekong and awaziem with balogun's retirement getting closer we seem to be slim in the department.

Udokhai will join the team after the euro u21 competition and will be great for the future but having adarabioyo in the mix will be a good one bearing in mind that he is just 21 and defenders tends to get better as they grow older. He has all the qualities to metamophose to a better defender in th future but we musnt wait until then. He just had a taste of men's football out on loan to westbrom so another loan away from city will aid his development more.

Am still trying to c d importance of ola aina in eagles grin
Aina is a good player. He just hasn't start taking the national team serious. .reason why there wasn't much uproar when he missed d world cup list..
Rohr will eventually pick Shehu ahead of him at the AFCON

What has Ola Aina taken serious. Someone that will suddenly switch off before final whistle. Go and watch his Torino games. Good player going forward sleepy player defending.

You see eh, Shehu matter is one of d reason most people call Rohr a conservative manager.. But make we reason am well... Rohr likes to set up his team to be defensive. even the wingers have to contribute defensively too(reason why he likes Simon) ..Shehu was one of our best player during the wcq..he was solid defensively too..That's d main reason he has lasted in that RB role for long..
Aina is good offensively but poor defensively.. That's what cost him a spot at the world cup...and that's why Rohr still prefer Shehu to him..

if Aina could improve on his defending,we won't be stuck with Shehu .
So if u see Shehu starting ahead of Aina, don't be surprised...

and what made you think he is yet to improve? aina is still young and will get better with time and another season on loan will afford him that. that shehu guy though was okay during wcq but was piss poor in our first match against croatia at the last world cup.

i miss ebuehi so much!

i remember how many roasted rohr in this forum for giving this guy a chance in the super eagles. he has been a consistent figure in parderborn's first 11 since the got promoted to the 2nd tier, shunning out good performances week in week out which attracted few bundesliga teams. i am so glad he is on the verge of been promoted with him team and even if it doesnt happen i forsee him leaving the german 2nd tier when the transfer window opens

yes oo and not only that he have been very impressive and a constant figure in the team right from their 3rd tier days till date which have made alot of bundesliga teams to take notice of him. Stuttgart wanted him badly during the winter transfer but he decided to stay put and help his team retain their status as a 2nd tier team not knowing that something bigger will come their way at the end of the season
