It was the citadel and the red keep she specifically targeted as structures after she had satisfied herself roasting the poor peasants.

People normally run away from cities when it's about to be sacked or besieged not the other way around.
If a city is besieged - thousands of innocent people, sometimes millions starve. if a city is stormed, thousands of innocent people are killed, only difference is thousands of innocent ladies get raped as well. If a city is marked to be destroyed completely - well.

They weren't allowed to destroy the buildings in the original KL set so they had to build a whole new kings landing in Spain before shooting the last episode.

I don't think her intentions were to burn innocent people, she made a decision to burn kingslanding to the ground which unfortunately had people in them. I think the writers focusing on the common folks made it look like she was deliberately burning innocent people but as D& D said, they focused on the common folks to show who actually suffered the decisions of the high lords and ladies.
The city caused her so much pain she decided to burn it to the ground, I expect she will rule from dragonstone.

as I said earlier, those folks were at the wrong place at the wrong time and they have cercei and her propaganda agents to thank for it, she made them believe inside the city was the safest place to be while in reality she wanted to use them as shields - she also wanted to use them to implicate Dany cos she knew thousands of them would die if the city was to be stormed, that way it would look like she was trying to protect her common folks and Dany came and burned them all with her dragons.

Dany agreed to bring her peaceful terms despite losing a child, a term that would have saved the lives of everyone in the city, what did cercei do? she drove Dany further into both a mad rage, mourning and loneliness by killing the sister she could not have - Missandei was her best friend, her closest confidant, her most trusted advisor and her sister. Cercei killed everyone in that city as much as Dany. If I had a dragon and a large army I doubt I wouldn't do much worse than her in that situation. I would have made sure there will be no stone left standing on another. to make matters worse, this varys was planning treason right under her nose and Jon refused to be a shoulder to cry on (this is the point I missed ser Jorah the most). If Jon had not acted like a fool she would have blurted out her thoughts amid tears which would have meant an opportunity to talk her out of it.

I really hope so cuz Dany dying would be really sadistic. Her character's been through a lot. Went through a lot in the hands of her brother, escaped many assassination attempts, lost her child, lost two dragons, 2 of her closest friends dies protecting her cause, lost all her allies and associates, the man she loves doesn't really feel the same way about her anymore, she became mad resulting to the death of innocent people and then she'll be killed by the man she loves and be forever be remembered as the mad queen. That's too tragic.

Imagine trying to take over the seat of power in naija starting with Abuja.after you take out the military, aso rock is next, then senators quarters or estate in maitama and the NASS complex and then some other symbolic places instead of going to nyanya and mararaba to kill people. Does that make sense.

Lord knows season 8 has been underwhelming, not necessarily because it's the worst thing on TV(not even close), but majorly due to the bitter fact that it has become a shocking deviant from the sunflower that once captivated the whole world.

Lord knows I'll probably never forgive D & D for shape-shifitng my baby from a growing, maturing & compassionate leader into the Mad queen so sudden & fast that the death of her character development came like premature ejaculation. Never saw that coming!

Lord knows I'm still burning from how Jon snow melted under the intense heat of bad writing. Even the Lord of light cannot undo this knife to the heart. There was a time when Jon was "hands-down" my favorite character but now?..... I don't want it

Lord knows they ruined Tyrion for me. Once upon a time, I counted myself lucky & privileged to watch this man speak. Today he has become short of wits & wisdom, and descended so low that his character is as hollow as his favorite chalice of wine.

This is the height...for somebody who once stood tall. A sad irony that he wasn't able to dwarf his previous achievements as the seasons progressed. Tyrion refused to grow. What a pity.

Lord knows I've detached my emotions from the season finale and made peace with the possible inevitability of a heart-wrenching "wtf!! this-does-not-even-make-sense" ending. Lord knows.

Lord knows... Lord knows ... lord knows.... there's alot to talk & complain about, BUT take a moment and pause --- The final episode of GoT will air in a few hours and that's bye bye!! Bye bye to Dragons, everything!!!

You will never get back this moment. Never. So maybe you should pause and take a moment to truly appreciate what has been an amazing journey, an amazing 8 years of being part of something truly spectacular & breathtaking.

This is your moment and nobody should take it away from you, not even D & D( complains can fully resume with fire & brimstone immidiately the final episode airs . Me sef go join ) .
