How on earth are people expecting that Drogon should have killed Jon? In the whole of the last kingdoms Aegon (Jon Snow) is the only one apart from Danny to mount a dragon. He is also the last Targeryen alive.. Drogon focused his anger on the iron throne since it's obvious that's the reason he killed her for...(creating the impression that if my Queen did not seat on the throne, then no one else will) Killing Jon Snow would have made it easier for him not to live with the guilt of being a Queen Slayer, leaving him alive and him later sent to the wall allows him to live with the guilt till his last breath(we could also see it all over him)

Sansa requested the Norths independence in front of Danny but the discussion was interrupted... The Starks are the rulers of the North, I see no reason why because the North has independence it shouldn't have a ruler as well.. Some said she jumped to the crown, Arya doesn't want it, the other Stark is already Lord of the Six Kingdoms. Their Uncle can't rule since Ned Stark still has living offsprings. Bran couldn't reject it cos it's for the greater good, and he's from the North too.

Almost All Families in the series were given a new ruler, from Sam to Yara to Baratheons bastard... You don't just expect GOT to tell the tale word for word, scene by scene.

See, I already highlighted this in my first post on the thread today. It is ridiculous that the North was allowed to secede when the ruler of Westeros is from the North.

I don't fancy the North nor House Stark. I have always seen them in different light, even since the death of Rob.

Regardless, the decree about the leader being chosen is in respect to the Iron Throne and not the North.
