I bought Samsung Galaxy A30 not withstanding the negative reviews. I can confirm that the phone is awesome. No proximity sensor issue, fingerprint sensor working perfectly, the camera is very good, I compared it with Huawei Y9, the speakers are loud enough. I bought 10D tempered glass to protect the screen yet the phone is very light in weight.

Anyone who is interested in this phone should go ahead n buy it as it's a very good phone. I charged last since yesterday n I am still using it without need to recharge. The fast charging rocks. It went from 67% to 100% in abt 35mins.

I recommend this phone to anyone who cares about a quality phone. Samsung indeed did not disappoint.

What I need to know, is it bright enough under direct sunlight? Does the GPS/Google maps work perfectly? (those two factors are very important for my work), how is the battery life?

The display is wonderful, Samsung did wonders with AMOLED. The battery took me for a whole day of active use. The selfie camera is also very good.

I forgot to mention that mine came with April 1 update already installed so I didn't have to install any update. The just stands out the almost all my friend would want to have a feel of it.

It's highly recommended if you are still having a second thought of buying the phone

I have contemplated & procrastinated on a phone to buy for a long time. I made up my mind & bought the Nokia X5 which I must confess is a beautiful phone. My wife saw it, fell in love with it & took it.
I started contemplating again on which other phone to buy since I wanted to hold something different. So I but the Samsung Galaxy A30. My wife almost collected it from me but I stood my grounds.
The Samsung Galaxy A30 is really beautiful with bright display, beautiful colours, great camera. It even has the bokeh effect on the selfie camera. I use an Airtel 4g LTE sim & it's very fast.
I have been rocking this phone for close to 2 weeks now & to be candid, the battery life is gr8.

Dont mind some people with their shitty reviews, I wanted to buy the RN7 but it wasn't available in all the shops I visited so I added extra money and got the a30 and honestly the phone is something else. the battery life is superb and if you are someone who is used to all this shitty infinix and tecno devices then the super amoled screen will wow you. and over all performance is great.
