Yes it is. Late last year the FG approved the establishment of a national agency for robotics and AI, so we are getting there.

But there is sufficient global interest in this, and although we live in Nigeria, we need to tap into that global atmosphere.

Hmmm that's nice. Yea, the world is a global village now. We can always tap into that global atmosphere and get resources/knowledge to upgrade us. But after then, what next? Where do we fit in. Well, like you said, we might get there soon. I learnt UBA have a robot they use for customer care. The robot does virtually everything a human customer service will do.. Even has a WhatsApp account. We really might get there.

I'm not planning to dive into it but I'd love to learn a thing or two about AI and Robotics.

This is the coolest thread I came across so far....I wouldn't mind learning stuff concerning robotics and artificial intelligence.....From the little I have come across online,artificial intelligence is being used in so many fields of endeavor.......I work in Ibadan and wouldn't mind being involved in your workshop in my spare time
