Let me come in here a bit, I think awoniyi did not take his chances at gent, I remembered he performed very well for mouscron only to go on downward trend at gent with that young guy Jonathan scoring more and eventually benching him, he would have used gent to propel to even better club but didn't take his chance. I think he need to move to a bigger club to redeem himself.

Let me use onyekuru for instance, his development has been on an upward trend, from lowly Eupen to Anderletch and he proved himself then he went to Galatasaray now the rumours are that his will be going to Bayern, that's what we call development. Awoniyi needs to play next season at a bigger club next season.

Is Liverpool a smaller club?

Do I need to remind you that Nwakali was the MVP during his set. Thats like being the U17 footballer of the year....lol

Meanwhile, nothing dubious about special talents because they exist. Some players exibit extraordinary skills so early they caught attention of everybody, excluding you....lol

Also, let me remind you Nwakali is still an Arsenal player yet he cant even secure a ffucking visa, thus the fact Awoniyi is a Liverpool player mean absolutely nothing. He must prove himself.

Again , Michael can play behind Osimhen. Michael is a very skillful player with an eye for deadly passes. Awoniyi is a workaholic striker ,who is yet to convince us we can rely on him to deliver the goods.

Awoniyi is not the standard, hence more work for him till he catch up with Osimhen, Onyekuru and Chukwueze.

Who are the us? I don't take those 'us' seriously because they tend to know nothing.

If scouts that matters could recommend Awoniyi to Liverpool and Liverpool was able to buy him, he doesn't need to convince the 'us' that are inconsequential in football world to prove he is quality.

This only happens in Nigeria. The dubious tag of special talent to bring some players into the National team.

Well, that will soon change.

Has he made the bench not to talk of kicking ball, we are talking of playing and scoring at a higher club, assuming he did well at gent it would av been another story.

Yes he has been more consistent. Taiwo only started scoring at his current club, he didn't do anything at Gent.

Lately, Awoniyi was consistent.

The best of Etim Esin was 87 U21 qualifiers especially against Zambia in Lagos and also 1990 WC qualifiers.

Etim ruined himself with bad attitudes and got paid for it.

Oga forgiveness pls let us end it.

One thing is cleared,Awoniyi is progressing and with his level of discipline he would be right there.Getting attention from clubs like Lazio and schalke is not a joke.

He is a player that would be vital to eagles soon, not too bad to have Osimenh,Awoniyi and Onuachu in future eagles just like the era of Yekini,Siasia and Amokachie.

Truly a lot don’t rate him but I rate him and I have my reason.

We cannot always be on the same page.

So lets move on.

Sometimes, that's all the chance you get.

Uche Agbo never got any minute despite being invited over and over again, what would you say about that.

After the Zambian match Anderson Esiti never got called up till date.

Onyekuru had to score against Liberia in a friendly and giving an assist against Libya before he's getting this attention from the coach.

How long did it take for Ebuehi and Ogu to be given a chance? Aina even came and made his debut straight up while Ebuehi was pushed out of the squad.

It's not as if Kayode, Awoniyi are the ones treated unfairly.

Oga! Kayode was never given a chance to prove himself despite the fact that he won Austrian player of the year and top goal scorer.

He deserved it more than all those players you listed.

The likes of Mane and Keita who won the Austrian player of the year have gone far in their career.

If only he is not a Nigerian, he could have gone farther in his career.

I also remember his display in the final of the 1987 AYC against Togo in Lagos. We won the game 3:0. Though I can't really recall the role he played in the 1990 WCQ. I didn't get to watch most of the games.

I think Okocha was just a more disciplined version of Etim. Etim was really good. Its a pity he chosed to end his career the way he did. undecided

Telling me that he deserves to be on the list than anyone else doesn't dismiss the fact that he is the only who's had it bad or is having it bad.

Am I the only one that is incredibly disturbed by the calibre of men being paraded as U20 in our Youth team? undecided

I mean, 90% of these guys are in their mid-20's at least and the poor attempt to shroud their true ages by shaving their beards, only served to worsen the entire thing.

Not only are these men obviously aged, they look like they've been carrying cement all their lives (no offense to those who perform these tasks), they are hard to look at (literally).

This Aigbogun fellow has done himself no favors, bandying these frauds as youth players. I bet these guys are older than half the Super Eagles team. A team of Onyekuru, Osimhen, Ndidi, Iwobi, Collins and Ebuehi, would pass for U20 before any of the guys I have seen.

FIFA ought to sanction the Flying Eagles. I hope one of the teams in Poland will do the Lord's work and submit a complaint concerning these men, for proper investigation into their true ages. This fraud must not stand angry
