Sorry bro. I had similar experience. Mine came with a delivery note from Lagos totally abt 8k despite seller underwriting the value to 15 dollars. They opened and declared it as 40k value. Well i had no choice, had to pay. It was in UI Post office.
If you want to return it, well by all means, if you can negotiate, i couldn't do that [tho suspected something abit fishy]. Ask for re assessment....

I've been saving money to get new phone on aliexpress pocket fund "which u can't reverse the money back to your account unless u use it to order for item" that's the reason why i choose to settle for the custom fee as there is nothing to do about it
