A 68 year old German lady, BAERBEL JAJA is in very big trouble in Lafia. This lady who has lived in Nigeria for over 35 years does not hide her hatred for Nigerians. Presently she works in Lafia as head of special school, a school that outgoing governer Almakura established to help children with disabilites. She is alleged to have this lucrative position as a result of her very close personal relationship with an unnamed commissioner who heads the ministry looking after the school.
On the fateful day of 8th May, a teacher who was accosted and insulted by Jaja suddenly collapsed and lost consciousness. Bystanders had to plead and plead with Jaja who stubbornly refused to allow the school ambulance to take her to hospital. It took the quick intervention of the school clinic staff to resusitate her and take her to Specialist Hospital where medical personnel fought to save her life.
Interviews with various staff after this incident reveal a sad and shocking situation of a 'power crazy' oyibo woman who loves money so much and loves oppressing people. Staff are shocked that a white woman like her can be wicked and heartless in an environment where there are children with disabilities. Many staff comments that they think that she has a serious mental challenge and think that she is a very big danger to the children.
Many teachers complain that Jaja does not know how to handle children with special needs because she pretends as if she knows what she is doing. One teacher said that Jaja beat a student with mental challenge and the student did not even understand why she was being beaten. Many parents have withdrawn their children from the school when they heard about the beating.
She once accused a girl with mental problems of being pregnant and wanted to set her up for expulsion even though many pregnancy tests done were negative. Jaja was so sure that the girl was pregnant as if she was the one who impregnated her and as if she is medically qualified to know anything about her condition.
Staff also complains of her utter disrespect and many recount various tales of bitter encounters with her. A teacher talks of being told to kneel down by Jaja. Another was scorned when he reported that a student stole his phone and told him that he is not supposed to bring his phone to work. A grown, married man for that matter. Jaja has famously told cleaners many times that they will be fired so that the children can learn to clean toilets. Who send their children especially children with disabilities to school to learn to clean toilets? And she likes terrorising cleaners that she will fire them as if she pays them from her own pocket.
The big problem that is boiling now is her restriction on the staff's ability to practise their religion without hindrance. She has harassed both staff and students to stop wearing hijab despite the fact that the state law allows the practice. Jaja is a proclaimed atheist does even not respect anybody's choice of religion.
She even has issues with members of the press. When she started work in Lafia, she shouted on them that they cannot enter her office like the governor or commissioner without appointment. A whole principal of a primary school!! Because of that, when she wanted to celebrate World Down syndrome day in the school, no single person from the press came to cover the event.
Many people across Lafia laments that Jaja has succeeded in destroying the legacy of Gov Almakura. The school is now a shadow of its former happy and lively self and staff hope that the day of freedom comes soon when this wicked Baerbel Jaja leaves Lafia in peace.

Please go confirm the story. If you know somebody in nasarawa or lafia, they can confirm from the people working there. She is not working with ghosts. Even when you google her name, she has a court case with her step son. The story is just like tales by moonlight oh.

Baba calm down, this is very one-sided and reeks of how most Nigerians wants things done, against the global set standard. For instance, why bring in talk about religion here? Yes, sane people plan their day ahead, so the pressmen or anyone cannot just come to see her without booking appointments for such visit(s).

In as much as I believe that there's an atom of truth behind any rumuor, I also stand to side with those who opined that this story is one-sided.



To cogitate that this Señora effectuated this truculence is stupendously disturbing. What an Old Nick!
