Good day everyone.

Please someone with a DVM(doctor of veterinary medicine) certificate wants to know if it is evaluated as equivalent to a masters degree.

If yes, which evaluation body will you recommend?

Is it necessary for him to contact any professional body in Canada for an evaluation?

See this link.

Scroll down and select any points system in the dropdown and type "Veterinary".

Phew! There is hope yet. I might post my PPR script afterall!

grin grin grin EOR successful. I would have upgraded it to a 9/10 due to your convincing LOE but for not trusting in my ability to reconsider and for calling my retired boss out of retirement in such a manner, grin I minus 0.5 marks. Final score: 8.5/10. I have updated your script score grin

P.s EOR request is no guarantee of mark upgrade. EOR upgrade is at the discretion of the grader. Marking scheme updated.

I saw a similar question in a different forum. Although the "law" says 6 months, the person in question was advised to get one. Remember a lot of things rest on the case officer, so to be on the safe side, I'd recommend getting one.

It is a very simple and quick process too. It is also inexpensive.

newbie4c:
Good day house. Someone said you don't need to apply for US PCC since one didn't spend up to 6 months but 5 months and like 4 days. please, i would like to conform if that this right?

Pardon me if my corrections were harsh, but I'd rather be harsh with you here than the examiner on your exam scripts. 75k must not waste. To make you feel better, I have put the niceties about your essay in bold in my comments grin The bolded in your essay are your errors.

Bless your heart for this words on marble you just typed. Singleness is nothing. Marriage sef dey scatter for Cannyland, though we don't pray for it but nothing is cast in stone.

Amen to your last statement.

Thank you for the champagne o jare. These our people that make marriage look like oxygen. The joke is that you'll meet them in Canada thinking you've met someone abroad not knowing their thoughts are still in Sangotedo.

Took the words right out of my mouth. lol.
FYI to anyone in this situation. There are awesome men who would marry a single mum with children. With their husbands alive... especially in the western open minded world. Don't loose hope!

Lady M is right. Please do as advised. I read about someone in a similar situation. She sent a very polite but straight to the point email to them. They responded with PPR.
If you happen to be pregnant and mention something about wanting to give birth in Canada, that would also move them to act quickly.

ladymarshall:
Raise a CSE or send an email to Accra VO to ask how far. I am not sure if you can call Accra

@Topsmamen @joo2018 @Stencil @Ifeoma77 more suggestions?

First thing to remember about the Speaking test. There is no right or wrong answer. They want to see how well you understand and articulate yourself.
Don't look at it as a test, that might scare you a bit. Look at it as if you are simply having a conversation with a stranger. You meet someone, they ask that you a question you may or may not know the answer to but the key is to walk them through your thought process.

I used this method and scored 9 with speaking.

Arosam:
I don't know if i should call it Speech Disability or not, my listening, reading and writing is way better than my speaking. The thought of this gives me goosebumbs.
Am already scoring 8.5, 7, 7.5 on Listening and reading test, i think my writing isn't so bad but speaking scares me. Please guys i need help!!

You need to keep practicing and find a quiet place cos distractions could be affecting your score. I was getting something like that during my practice but on test day I got the required 8.5. Also I think the actual test is easier than the Cambridge practice test. Keep at it and goodluck.

hmmm I need to look into this consulting thing. @Topsmamen @Ifeoma77 I'm ready when you are, I have a feeling we'd make a great team. LadyMarshall can run logistics.

Bumy, knowing your profile could help give you a better answer. Your age, degree, years of work experience etc.
An overall band of 7 isn't enough these days to secure ITA. You'd need to score 8777 (LRWS). Kindly provide us with more details to better assist you.
PS: The tool your "consultant" used to calculate your CRS is this one. Use it and play around with it to see the best option for you and your family. Good luck!

Thanks Stencil. My Spouse who is the principal applicant is 33, he has 7years work experience, has an Hnd and scored 8,7,6,7.5 (LRWS) in ielts. He scored 380 after using the CRS calculating tool and that's why we are considering a PNP. Is it a right step to take and how do we go abt it?

Try simulating using 8777 as @stencil advised. You should see a jump in CRS. But it may not be enough in these days of 450+ cutoff. Can he try for an extra certificate if he has only one? Can you try with yourself as the PA? Simulate these and see what you get.

At 33 years, with a good IELTS and two or more certificates, you can still get a direct ITA. Sometimes the PNP takes a while.
