Sunbeam20:continue breastfeeding, it will go. it happens when you are having milk production. if you are feeling feverish due to that, take paracetamol and make sure u wear your bra always. the most important thing, breast feed your baby from time to time. |

tabithaola:I don't think its advisable to be bathing babies with soap twice in a day. just morning is okay, then use only water for them @night. my opinion though. 2 Likes |

rvpbae: I went to the health center at the national library in Area 2 and I got meningitis and mmr for 10k and vitamin A and OPV free. They said Dtap is 4000 and PCV booster is 4000, they don't have chicken pox yet. I have someone that works in Asokoro general hospital and found out that PCV booster is free there and they are expecting chicken pox vaccine by the end of the month, I hope this helps. |

Stmema:depending on the age. cos it happens to toddlers more like 2yrs and above. I will say its too much play and unrestlessness during the day, but at same time, I will carry the child, pray and plead the blood of Jesus. if its a baby, its because they want to suck at that time. if they don't cry, how will you know baby is awake to suck? 2 Likes |

Forevergirl: Imagine the coincidence. I finally got it today at federal staff hospital gwarinpa. Chicken pox was 8500, mmr was 5500, meningitis was 1000 while pcv booster, opv and vit a was 200naira each. But is it true the chicken pox and mmr is takes in two 2doses cos the woman told me to come in about a month or so for the second dose. That's another 14k. Cc jazzyjazz |

tabithaola: I guessed right. That putting soap in middle of the sponge na big waste. You are washing off the soap with water at the same time you want it to lather. Sebamed doesnt work that way even the one used by adults. The soap gets soft and kinda melts when it is covered up in the soap case so its better to leave the soap case open so it gets dry. Cheers |

Nabie: is she running temperature at intervals? Have you tried steam inhalation or nasal drops too? since she's not taking any meal, that's a sign of discomfort and loss of appetite. I will advice you take her to the hospital and run tests for malaria and infection so the doctor can prescribe the right medication. cheers |

[quote author=rvpbae post=78652767] Imagine the coincidence. I finally got it today at federal staff hospital gwarinpa. Yes it is taken in two doses o, God help us. You got very fair prices as it is the nurse at the health center in Area 2 is a scammer. I gave birth at Federal Staff gwarinpa, I used to live in Kubwa but I've moved far away that's why I didn't go to Fsh. Did you take Dtap, it seems I will leave that one o, I'm tired sef. |

Donphilex:Please it's not meant for the skin, not even when diluted, it's really strong and harsh. Just leave a few drops on your bed or on a wrapper not too far from the baby and she can still breathe it. For this case you don't even need it, just make sure she's covered when it gets cold. |

Nabie:Sounds like the onset of sickness, please take her to the hospital and insist they run tests, the earlier you start medication, the more crisis averted. |
Re: NEW BORN BABIES! Are U A New Mum? Then Lets Discuss Babies Here!!!!! by Giddyperson: 8:01am On May 24, 2019 |
Lehwah:Don't pressure yourself, if you can't sleep at night, find something useful to do with the time, if you feel less pressure to fall asleep, sleep would come. For your second question, why haven't you asked your school if they would let you bring the baby. You're the only one that knows how your work environment is and if they would let you carry your baby. Or you can get a post-secondary school age help to come to school with you and watch the baby. As for creche, I don't know how much the school pays and if it's worth spending money on a creche. My cousin who teaches in a secondary school put her baby in a creche close to her school where she paid N500 per day. She said their services were decent and i thought the price was fair enough considering her salary and the fact that there were days she could take the baby with her to school. So if you find a service like this too, you could consider creche. 1 Like |
