They are too young.

Yes, they are young, they were brought into being by parent who didn't plan for them, how many will the country take care of? especially here where everybody even poor people are asked to bear children regardless of situation? we are our own problem, these kids will become great tomorrow so let them be

Honestly, this is a good answer. Spot on.
Most people are always quick to blame the government like as if the government was responsible for bring children that can't be cared for to the world.
Absolutely! Nigerians give birth to dozens of children they can not take care of financially And blame the goverment for it grin

Eventually they use them chilren for slave labour, while they the parents Have more sex and give birth to more hopeless children.

Every time u call God when God has finished His work yet you expect Him to feed you.

We deserve d kind of leaders we get.

Let's stop disturbing God on a job He has finished

Since God have finished work...no need to pray again ba?. Le mi tell u now; until d final nail in "Satan" coffin is strucked prayer for God's intervention will continue to be needful.

Even if it means hawking. I am not saying anything different.

They should start to hustle from childhood.

Any how you want to put it...

That you're privileged does not mean you should lose sight of the fact that there some people that are less privileged...

You know what I find strange though, that most Nigerians like to pretend like all is well in this hell of a country, that people are struggling to eat, to survive...

The advice I have for you is that whenever you see one of those kids hawking, don't turn a blind eye and pretend they don't exist or they're doing something strange you've never seen before .

Call them close and ask why they're hawking, after that, you try to help out in any way you can, instead of being judgmental (some might even be orphans )

Even in the Western world, their many children beggers or kids that sell flowers, it does not mean their parents wanted that situation for them .

is it not the bad economy policy of the government that makes their parents to be suffering in not to cater for their kids.

Judgemental to who? Who said I am privileged and I have everything? We are all in this hell hole together but my mindset and mentality and yours are totally different. It saddens me when i see a little child hawking but you see it as "help". Its a thing of the mind.

You that are talking... Would you send your children to hawk? Or you are only speaking from this point of view because they are not your children?

The issue is not about whether the country is good or bad or if children don't hawk everyday. The issue here is...is it something that should be promoted? We as Nigerians have become so consumed by the issues of this country that we no longer can differentiate between right and wrong.

If we don't change our mindset about certain things, we will find ourselves faced with it and succumb to it.

That is no excuse. Only a lazy man gives excuses of this nature.
So because of poor government policy, they are protesting by fvcking and making babies they will not care for Abi?
