is it the same makanjuola that went to u17 AFCON?

No, his name is Success Makanjuola. He was part of the 2017 under 17 that failed to qualify.

Unfortunately this fraud is decades old.

Our youngest under 20 side was 2017, the amuneke side that did not qualify. 2015 was relatively young too. Apart from those 2, we have been parading old men.

In fact, this Aigbogun side is far younger than some of the teams, we have presented. There are up to 6-7 players with the correct age.

The biggest challenge is that on the local scene, most players do not use their real ages. It is a common practise to take several years off your age. There are players on this team that have taken over 10 years off their real age. Clubs and academies encourage this cheating so that they can sell you. They know European teams won't sign a 25 year old.
someone on twitter said our GK and Aiyenugba used to be classmate, lol

The Senegal left back Aw is one to watch, very good crosser of the ball

The hattrick scorer Sagna is also good
against Tahiti? Oduamadi scored a hat trick against them in 2013

wait until a european nation or south america country play that Tahiti
then you will know that Senegal missed couple of chances to have
made it double.... same thing happened to Nigeria at the confederations cup
we won Tahiti 6 nil...only for Spain to wallop them 12 nil and uruguay 7 nil

Africa teams rarely know how to score goals... that has been our problem
since ages

The NFF Bill has been passed by the Senate. I hope PMB assents to it.

Elders in the house, what good does it hold for our football?

Am I the only one that is incredibly disturbed by the calibre of men being paraded as U20 in our Youth team? undecided

I mean, 90% of these guys are in their mid-20's at least and the poor attempt to shroud their true ages by shaving their beards, only served to worsen the entire thing.

Not only are these men obviously aged, they look like they've been carrying cement all their lives (no offense to those who perform these tasks), they are hard to look at (literally).

This Aigbogun fellow has done himself no favors, bandying these frauds as youth players. I bet these guys are older than half the Super Eagles team. A team of Onyekuru, Osimhen, Ndidi, Iwobi, Collins and Ebuehi, would pass for U20 before any of the guys I have seen.

FIFA ought to sanction the Flying Eagles. I hope one of the teams in Poland will do the Lord's work and submit a complaint concerning these men, for proper investigation into their true ages. This fraud must not stand >:(

I wish for the same thing too. I have said it; this team will not be getting my support. It is just open fraud.

Yet 3 African players topped the EPL scoring chart this season (Salah, Mane, and Ayuba). And by the way, are the following players not Africans: Roger Miller, Abedi Pele, George Weah, Samuel Eto'o, Didier Drogba, Rashidi Yekini, Victor Ikpeba, Richard Owubokiri, Yakubu Aiyegbemi, etc etc.

So what da heck are you talking about, eh

My only worry is for the career of the truly young in the squad in the midst of their ancestors (parading as U-20)

I said Africa teams and not Africa players please...
those players obviously did so well because of the club they played for...the team cohesiveness and compact.
I mean Africa teams....national teams rarely know how to score goals.....

remember at the world cup Senegal manage to win panama...don't think they even won the match self...
same with Tunisia and Nigeria where a player putting on the No.9 missed a seater same scenario the Argentine scored to make it 2:1

when I saw the Nigeria team..I sure know other west Africa teams will be worse...
save for South Africa and north Africa countries...the other Africa nations...barely have shame when it comes to parading old legs as cadet teams....
Nigeria that is supposed to be different considering the talents at our disposal greed and corruption will never allow us do the right thing

Dude, actually, that's not true. You can be very good at long passes and short passes plus all what not when you're playing a mediocre team. But when you play a quality side, you'll get no room/space to make those long passes.

Got it

Earthquake3:

Long passes are long passes, they can transfer from one side to the other very well

I am not a bro so put down whatever you're smoking. You're still not making any sense.

Teams don't score goals, individuals players do. When a team is made of good goal scorers then that team is bound to score goals. A player like Samuel Eto'o or Didier Drogba don't leave their scoring booths behind when playing for their national teams!

Got it shocked

Long passes are can be misplaced when playing lower oppositions, for the fact that they were able to play their diagonal balls and bring it down perfectly if they are faced with superior opposition and they find space they would be able to do the same
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by SexynSerious(f): 4:09pm On May 24, 2019
So are you trying to argue that the level of a team's performance (in everything: passing, dribble runs, etc.) has no correlation to the quality of the opponent in front of them?

LOL. Like I had previously stated, it's men like yourself who turn women like myself into legends grin

I clearly said that they may find it tougher against superior opponents but the long balls is what they have mastered

Besides long balls can be misplaced against easier opponents
