Cityfirstborn: Who told you Chrisantus is playing in Nigeria? Or even Ibrahim? The Tony Keeps team mates, are they playing in top European leagues? The point is, they're still playing professionally. |

Lacklustre performance by the thirty-something year olds, any of the European teams will trash them silly. |

Cityfirstborn: Ganiyu Oseni plays in Vietnam, Kingsley Udoh plays for Sunshine Stars, Rabiu Ibrahim is still playing in Slovakia, Chrisantus has played in Germany, Spain, Turkey and I believe is now in Finland, King Osanga was at Plateau United last season. As long as they didn't progress to become regulars in their senior team, there is no difference between the Europeans who dispeared into their local leagues and the Nigerian boys who dispeared into the back leagues of Europe, Asia or returned to our local league. safarigirl: Tell him o. 2 Likes |

dabossman:u de mind d guy...age grade tournaments are no guarantee...the Europeans and South Americans ll always dominate cos they have a functional league and consistent development football systems... 2009 under 17...omeruo and onazi played up to world for eagles...2013 under 17 ihenacho awoniyi are doing quite well...2015 under 17...osimhen,chukwieze,nwakali,uzoho are showing promise...2005 under 20 Mikel, ogbuke, taiwo did well play up to world cup for eagles to... 2007 under 20 produce d likes of ideye, efe Ambrose,ezenwa... not all guys from age grade make it top stage due to opportunities and luck...hopefully we get up to three or four players play for eagles from this teams and yes it's ok and gud... 2 Likes |

Looking at the second game, I guess you were right bro. Deficiencies in the team came to the fore glaringly. What a painful game to watch! The US took them to the cleaners in terms of performance. My hopes were low going into the tournament, and then there was heightened expectations after the first game. Those hopes have now plummeted. I should have trusted my instincts in the first place. yungmill: |
