Better let him know the display is terrible in sunlight that one can hardly see the screen and also the proximity sensor messes up most times just as someone here pointed out. And i also learnt the volume during calls is terribly low.

and also the proximity sensor messes up most times just as someone here pointed out - mine works perfectly, maybe the tempered glass the person is using is messing it up

And i also learnt the volume during calls is terribly low - this one na lie sha volume way dey like speaker. i dey always reduce am so the person next to me won't hear my convo...

You are absolutely correct, my phone is so stupid. If you press power button the phone will come on, if call someone the call will go through, if you switch on data the phone will start browsing like wtf? And the worst part is that the phone has airplane mode, which phone has airplane mode in 2019?! This phone is absolutely rubbish, games play, the speaker produces sounds, the screen turns on absolutely rubbish. It's worse than a piece of trash. I'll advise you not to buy it, Xiaomi and Redmi are just criminal companies that should be banned.
Which phone are u talking abt?
Are u suffering from somtin or wat?

Please house help, my Google Chrome just got invested with a virus while trying to install an app from the net. The malware always forces the app open and load some strange pages on its own.

I have downloaded so many anti virus but the best they could was identify the presence of a malware on the app without doing anything about i cannot uninstall the app as it is a system app.

Please what can I do before the malware causes substantial damage

Somebody please help

Redmi 7 will certainly get MIUI 11 even 12 and 13 self.

When that list was compiled I doubt Redmi 7 have been released then. As you can see there was no Mi 9 or Mi 9 SE but does that mean they would not get MIUI 11.

No be by big city.... Na who knw smartphone and no whatsup abt it matters d most!
that's what I mean by bigger city, not land mass... all these big shops and outlets are in Kano but not in KD. Not even a single standard cinema in KD but you've got that in Kano.
Kano is a commercial centre so you have to understand that

you will be better off buying with the accessories because it saves you money, also the stress of going to look for where to get them.

Watsapp / call 08062907289. Item can be delivered to your location.

The latter, I think the phone will b less secured after unlocking it?
All I need is root access, not changing dis ROM anytime from now
To root your phone you need to unlock bootloader but that doesn't mean you must change your rom. Whenever I unlock bootloader I'll first flash in xiaomi.eu rom use it for like a month or so before I try other roms like Pixel Experience, Bootleggers and Lineage OS and maybe CrDroid and Masik... But all these will when I'm done with exams.

Back up your files and format the phone. Or if you patient, apply to unlock your bootloader, should take at most 3 weeks in sensible situations or 3 months in insensible situations or worse xiaomi may not even grant the request. But if they do, get a system app remover and uninstall that chrome browser.
Or you can format your phone...

Is there a benefit to switching the phone region to India?
i noticed that the music player had extra features when i did and I've also perused some stuff about getting more themes that way
