Oluwabengz: You miss the part where they mentioned not making profit yet.. Also do not deceive yourself by feeling you put food on their table if you quit today someone else would be waiting to take up the Job like immediately because you don't have options in this shit hole which is why most of the complainers still wake up every morning and drive all day and night.. If they decide to quit and pack ehn I don't even need to explain to you what will happen to all drivers and partners just think for yourself.. The main problem is being avoided.. I have not seen any of you mention having a protest against the greedy government that is causing the bad roads, unemployment, corruption no good health care and non functional infrastructures.. I feel we Africans are too delusional to tell ourselves the truth which is the main reason why we are where we are today.. Someone mentioned something about not leaving that complaining might bring up a solution, all I can say is you are just being delusional in all ramifications.. According to economics everything that is happening in the etaxi industry is very normal its called the power of demand, supply and price.. The higher the demand the lower the price and vice versa as long as supply is at a point of equilibrium, but right now there is high supply of the service and for demand to increase the price has to be reduced.. Remember that this supply of service is having a positive effect on the mechanical industry and the automobile industry (car parts included) you can Ask Gazzuzz and others If truly you want things to go back to at least an average point sacrifices has to be made and this includes a lot of drivers quoting the job and doing something else which is logically impossible in this Shit hole we live in.. I do not like to argue actually but I just like being sincere with myself. As it stands right now I can only tell you the latest slang I heard *WE DIE HERE* The day me as a person gets the chance to leave this country for a working economy I doubt if I am ever coming back cause this is a 3rd world Country.. Also this is just my opinion though and I am only looking at things from a Logical perspective 4 Likes |

lollyboy: You both are seeing things from different angles. I guess you're a fellow Economist . People have given up on this country, protests isn't gonna work. More than half of people doing Uber are using it as stop-gap until they find something better. People that complain here feel Uber may decide to work on their negative mentions to improve and also another reason for the rants is to share experience & testimonies Maybe Naija is a 10th world country sef. I follow join people who may never come back to stay except things get better (na to come dey visit family & friends). I go come back after retirement sha 4 Likes |

I was going steady 80km/hr on lekki express and dis gal was still complaining I was too slow, her kids were messing up my car(stew and indomie flying all around), she increased d car stereo so loud I couldn't hear anything, the next thing that freaking got me mad was she now asked me how will I feel if she ends the ride now or if she gives me one-star after d ride for not speeding up,,,like WTF!! I stopped immediately, she noticed I was upset and apologised, I kept mute nd ended the trip immediately, it now turns out she not even the person paying 4 d trip, she no get shi shi, her man called nd transferred my cash also begged me to complete her ride lol. I help her stop obalende bus and dash her 500, ND reported her immediately 18 Likes 1 Share |

Epphy: People do not understand that this is what it is all about.. Its called ride sharing and Nigerians turned it into a full time job and a do or die affair which is not our fault but the bad leadership we have always had. Having a technical skill is actually underrated in this part of the world but look at the way things are with people that have an option GAZZUZZ for example just jumped on the fence and is sitting there comfortably because of his skill and sweet mouth which I envy sef (No offense sir) but you are probably the best example in this situation because most people here probably know you or have heard about you one way or the other.. Do you know why he can always stand his ground and tell you NO or YES at any point in time? He has an optio(Not very common skill) you can go back to his reason why he stopped driving in the first place lol. He sells cars and has money to import oils, coolants, and now he has started selling refrigerating gas.. This man here has common sense and is actually thinking outside the box instead of complaints he is using the supply and demand chain to his advantage which makes me understand that he has western exposure.. Same goes for Dru23 and every time they make a comment you can see confidence and sincerity in all they say but most people will see them as proud but its not that way my people.. You mentioned something about emotions and I just had to lol it cause there is no emotion in business.. If you want to survive in the commerce world you have to be able to stand your ground and that is what the drivers complaining cannot do which makes me see the complains as unreasonable.. Let me take you guys back to a memory lane just this last December felt like it shouldn't end do you know why? Demand was high and supply was relatively low.. I am a very Lazy driver and I own my car and also have an option but if December can continue I will be driving on a reg cause there was a day I had 25k net I cannot remember how much fuel but I was ready to drive all week sef but my Lazy ass does not even like driving I just do it cause money is meant to be made.. All in all we can all be sincere with ourselves and let us face what this thread is all about.. Let's make positive moves Don't try to force anything on anybody.. If Jesusson wants to show his earnings let him share.. If you don't want to share yours its not a crime.. Let's start by having self respect and respecting each other.. They say little drops of water makes a mighty ocean and maybe if we start having a bit of unity from the very few reading this thread then something positive might come up on the long run.. PS this is just an opinion of mine and I also respect everyones opinion and perspectives cause life is all about diversification.. I hope we all have a great week ahead Regards 3 Likes 1 Share |

Hi guys who would be interested in car finance for Uber I am working on a project to make cars available at far less than hire purchase rates which I think is modern slavery. I need a pool of reliable end buyers who won't default . The project seeks to roll out 1500 cars for Uber soon but strictly for sale and interest rates are at most 24 percent on a reducing balance. |

alobz: Interested, if legit. This is not the first time we'll here of this kind of project. They always seem to die a slow death. Am sure you'll get over 1,000 drivers here interested. As long as one won't be required to pay 5k for registration. 4 Likes |
