most things like Date of birth, BVN and even the first 4 Numbers on ur ATM card can be gotten without an insider....your phone can give out your DOB or BVN ....attimes our close family friends can play the deals...so we should be careful

Bankers do not have all information especially the otp?That is why the scammers need to contact customers to get that particular detail. I still maintain some unscrupulous bankers feed these scammers with client information

it was derived from bombing emails thru yahoo platform . So u are still talking about the company , even a ritualist ,ona go say na yahoo boy. Na wa oh

It is sad that things like these still happen in our banking system at this age and time, please let us be wise and note that banks would never request for ur bank details but tell u to come to the bank if there is any issue. These fraudsters are now so advanced in hacking that they can lie to u about things that the banks deems confidential. So whenever they call u ignore them. If possible block their numbers. Let's be guided please.

I think this is an old scam. People should be very familiar with how these scammers work. I have heard about such bank frauds since years ago. Until now, if you want to search for it at some online customer complain board sites like http://whycall.me, you would find hundreds of reports have been filed about similar scams.

But the information the scammers asked the victims are the info the bankers have ordinary. Like which bank do you operate?

Very annoying as it is. The Bank itself will deny having such account number in their system saying that they cant access it when even your account statement discloses the fraudster bank. A cursed nation indeed!
