After all the excitement of relocating wears off , we start missing home ( not the traffic or NEPA of course ) . What is the thing that you miss the most about Nigeria ? |

For me, it is church ooo. To be able to attend service for 4 weeks will be bliss. As much as i was looking forward to to the visit of last year, after ten days, i just wanted to go back. The heaps of refuse on every bustop in lagos, the stench of the uncleared drainages, the harshness of people towards each other, the sufferring and looks of frustration on peoples faces, the hopelessness in the air was just too much for my spirit to bear. I could not enjoy myself in the midst of so much pain. I dont know if next time will be different. 7 Likes |

Beautyaddy: True that. Ive attended at least 4 Nigerian Churches in 3 different cities for at least a month...the story is the same. Salacious gossip, backbiting, showboating and stuff that add no value to my spiritual well being. You wanna be in church and feel that you are growing in spirit and learning new and deeper truths. The last one i attended for about 2 and half years, if i was a babe in spiritual matters, i would never step foot in a church again.. So i miss my parish in lagos a lot. 5 Likes |

I'm going to take it a notch further and state 3 things I miss and don't miss about Naija Miss -Food for sure, I miss the street food the most 4sure; Suya, Akara, Dundun, Puff Puff, e.t.c all from your favorite bustops. -I miss fresh Agege bread. -I miss the naija babes playing hard to get. Don't Miss -Definitely don't miss the traffic jams. It still baffles me how people are productive when you spend all your time in traffic. -Don't miss the stench. Almost everything smells. -Definitely don't miss NEPA. 3 Likes |

otipoju:Y don't you get someone to be sending you recorded services every week?? That's gonna cost you say $15 max every month or whatever you guys agree. The world has advanced |
Re: Nigerians In USA , What Do You Miss The Most About The Motherland by otipoju(m): 2:37am On May 29, 2019 |
TheRealOwner: You have a very strong point. My prayer though is for God to elevate me to the point where i can be visiting every six months for at least two sundays. The Last and First Sundays. That will be 3 key services for a total of 7. Wow. That would be fantastic. I will surely get there. 2 Likes |

otipoju: It depends on what you’re looking for. I’ve been blessed to attend true bible believing churches in the heartland of Michigan, New York and Texas. Go online, most churches post their sermons online. Watch, pray and let God guide. 1 Like |

Personally I miss nothing about Nigeria, l only feel for the millions of people suffering and dying daily with no hope in sight for their Eldorado, I also feel for those trapped by the wickedness of the useless leaders in that country, anytime l read of the kidnapping, cultism, ritualism, stealing, robbery, senseless killings by SARS, bokoharam, poverty, darkness, hunger etc in Nigeria, l feel like gathering all the leaders both past and present leaders and tell North Korea president to Nuke all of them for turning the country to the headquarters of extreme poverty and the 6th most miserable country on earth, otherwise, I don't miss anything about Nigeria 4 Likes |
