Emeka Ihedioha: Imo State's Knight Or Night? by Kayceenaz(m): 2:47pm On May 29, 2019
I have observed the post-victory gesticulation of Emeka Ihedioha with keen interest and come to admire his quite uncanny style of inclusive politics, trying to carry almost all Imo stakeholders along. That is laudable and I hope it continues. For now, the new Imo State governor seems humble and easy-going. But I'm not unmindful of the nameless evil spirit that tends to possess those who assume power and guides them to do the exact contrary of why the reins was handed them in the first place. Imo is fed up with the long night.

Like me, most well-meaning Imolites pray his case would be exceptional and he leads Imo State to infrastructural, educational, economic, judicial, and governmental betterment; where the state needs to be. Being our knight in shining armor is possible, it is achievable as long as Governor Ihedioha always keeps in his conscious mind the purpose of his gubernatorial elevation and resists (yes, temptations would surely show up) abusing the trust of the people of Imo State. Time will tell. A big congratulations to newly sworn-in Governor Ihedioha and may his reign be memorable, not forgettable!
