With respect to all the elders in the house, page 1 of this thread is where you need to visit. Yes you need to write IELTS and evaluate your certificates. Only your Bsc and other certifications is ok in this case and not Hnd and Ond. There is also a PNP thread for everything you need to know about that process.
MT:
Please I need a head start as I just got a grip to start this process. Please can someone re Science, Bsc from a University in UK , PMP and Microsoft Certifications. I am a Software Developer.

3. I am over 40 but if I want to boost my score via pronvincial nomination, what do I have to do? Do I apply to each of the provinces as the first step or after 1 and 2 stated above, I can now commence.

I hope someone will pick this up to be addressed. Thank you.

As of 2018, Indians made up about 42% of ITAs issued.
Nigeria was 3rd or 4th on the list.

Wow, the race to Canada just started.
A lot of people have woken up.
I won't be surprised if half of them are Nigerians.

If you husband doesn't have a degree chances are you might need another degree to claim points for "two or more" or Masters.
The only way to really know where you stand is to simulate your score with the CRS tool.

Hello house, good evening. Please I have a question and I'd really appreciate responses. I am planning on applying for express entry with my husband in August (everything is good - IELTS, we both have masters degrees, the only thing pending is I just graduated this May with my Masters and started the WES evalutaion process yesterday, so August seem like a reasonable estimate to apply). We have pretty good points, so I'm not bothered about getting ITA. My concern now is we have decided I'd be the primary applicant because I am younger. But this is my concern - I worked in Nigeria for 3 years as a Strategy Analyst and already have the reference letter from my employer. But when I checked the NOC classification, my job description is very similar to Management Analyst (NOC 1122) but my title of Strategy Analyst is not listed anywhere. So, must the job title be one of those listed even though the job description closely matches one of those listed. You know different companies have different job titles for similar roles. Or is it advisable I try to get my employer to change the title to Management Analyst (which they might be unwilling to do)?

You don't have to change your title. What matters are your duties matching the chosen NOC

Your JD is what matters most. As long as your JD fits well with the duties listed in NOC 1122, then you're good to go. Did you say your JD closely matches only one of those listed?

Thanks for your prompt response! Yes, my JD closely matches "Management Analyst" which is under NOC 1122.

congrats to ielts smashers ITA clinchers and those who got PPR.
what ever stage you are in this process ,pls stay strong and keep your head up.

pls I have a query .
got back from home this evening and decided to go through the document I submitted , and realised that the gift deed affidavit I used for POF had the name of my donor misspelled. ie instead of OYONBA, it was spelled OYOUBA other names where correct and the evidence of transfer was also attached with the correct name .
should I ask my donor to correct the error and send to me so I can raise cse or should I just ignore ?

i am getting conflicting suggestions .

and i would love that all heads tackle it together here

I beg make una help me na . need to solve this ASAP

maybe it doesnt matter or maybe it does but one has nothing to lose if same province is chosen as that extra 15 points was given for adaptability purpose if you order gcms then you will understand what I mean.i recently saw a gcms note where the agent deducted the 15points from the applicant score as the province the applicant chose was different from sibling's province of residence.luckily, the applicant had enough points to secure an ITA at the time without considering sibling point so his application scaled through.like I said.it really may not matter

Please my people!
Your candid advice is needed.

At the time of filling my EE profile, my sibling was residing in Airdrie, Alberta but I mentioned Calgary. Incidentally I am claiming sibling points. Although the two cities are just 20 mins away from each other by road and I also learnt they are counted and identified as part of Calgary during census.

My concern is should I raise CSE to provide the current information as he is now living in Calgary gangan or leave it since the two cities are in Alberta?

NB. I chose Calgary as my intended place to settle, I have been worried since I saw the above post.

If I am in your shoes. I will proactively do another gift of deed with correct name and send it through CSE along with a LOE sincerely explaining what happened. I will do this for peace of mind sake

In my opinion, raise a CSE attach the current utility bill as evidence and include a letter of explanation.

if it would make you sleep, you could raise a CSE. But i don't see it as a problem, they are both in the same province.

since you are indicating the POF as a gift deed, I BELIEVE just a letter of explanation should suffice if you can;t get the name corrected

Please I need a head start as I just got a grip to start this process. Please can someone respond to these questions:

1. Do I need to do WES and IELTS before starting any of the process? This is adviced as both of them usually take most of your preparation time

2. Do I need to pay WES for each of my credential to be evaluated. For instance, I have HND Computer Science, Bsc from a University in UK , PMP and Microsoft Certifications. I am a Software Developer. You can claim two or more certificates, since you don't have a master's. So your HND and BSC will suffice, this way you don't need to evaluate all of them. I think you pay the same fee for both with WES, I may be wrong.

3. I am over 40 but if I want to boost my score via pronvincial nomination, what do I have to do? Do I apply to each of the provinces as the first step or after 1 and 2 stated above, I can now commence.

I hope someone will pick this up to be addressed. Thank you.
