olujaidi:OK, I compound on my own terms and with my desired amount. And on secondary market and most likely a different rate. |
Re: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by Nobody: 9:47pm On May 29, 2019 |
kam045: I go for secondary markets and take tenors that matured same season then I converge and invest in primary bid. I bid once a year in primary market and severally in secondary market. Like now, I have bills for September and October,, 3, 10, 31,17. So first November auction will be my jackpot and the circle continues. 3 Likes |

lancee: He [Udoma] said the deficit of N1.92tn would be financed mainly by borrowing N1.6tn, made up of N802.82bn for domestic and N802.82bn for foreign borrowing respectively. Good new for TBs? 1 Like |

Am just looking at tb vs trucking (oil and gas ) I pick particular interest in one truck(814) coupled for 10.5m in Dec 2018 started work in January...it has generate 4.4 m from January to may 30 after all expense and repairs (net income )that 880k per months while tb would have generate around 120k permonth ...at this rate it will take t.b around 6 years to achieve 100 percent return if rate remain same while Max 2 years to achieve 120 percent in the later...my inquisitivness is a s a result of why the likes of dangote, otedelo other don't just liquidate their asset and dump in t.b and stop work and play Golf ......i suspect this might be the answer....may be some one should have different classes of income generating asset.... 11 Likes |

ahiboilandgas: Good analysis but will be interested in having the analysis of your complete fleet. Am sure the law of averages will step in and it won’t be that rosy 3 Likes |

Nb am not advocating for investors to go and buy trucks oooh...but to have other income source higher than 12 percent tb rate.... if u have the time to run the bussiness...it can be a combination of salary and tb or bond and salary or rent and tb or biz and tb or stock and tb etc 12 Likes |

ahiboilandgas: U are part of the privileged few. Come to warri and see hundreds of trucks lying fallow. U have a contract already, so ur case is that of enjoyment. A normal business man in oil and gas can't make those returns on one truck from January to may. 8 Likes |

ahiboilandgas: With the income you are making, you will need 12months to get your capital. Always remember machines have salvage value. Start comparing with tb after you recoup your capital. Meanwhile this gain margin is excessively impressive. I wish everyone planning to join the biz a big luck. I stick to what works for me. 12 Likes |

Gurus in the house should help us the new investors in answering some primary questions asked. You guys are going too far and need to carry us more along. For instance, people have asked the latest bid on primary TB but no response yet from anyone. Thanks House! |
