Does it mean that your monthly subscriptions, all have different maturity dates, for them to converge into year calendar end? Thereby enabling you to subscribe for your annually Tbill.

It's kinda fishy sometimes.. I will explain with numbers..

You invest N1000000
You will get N125000 (at 12.5% rate)

Then you asked for reinvest interest,
So you automatically invest the N125000
And you will get N12500+ in your account.


At the end of the year,
You will get N1125000 back from Tbills.

Add the N12500+
And you have total of N1137500

Therefore your true yield is N137500

Which is interest rate of 13.75% (TRUE YEILD)

Compounding is asking them to reinvest your interest till less than a 100k is left. The process is repeated till you have less than a 100k. I reinvest till it gets to the amount I so desire. Compounding is a one time investment while mine is invested after interest is paid which is likely next day and on secondary market

In NTB context, your capital is invested and the interest is reinvested till you have less than 100k left. Anything less than a 100k is not invested, it's returned to your account.

Am just looking at tb vs trucking (oil and gas ) I pick particular interest in one truck(814) coupled for 10.5m in Dec 2018 started work in January...it has generate 4.4 m from January to may 30 after all expense and repairs (net income )that 880k per months while tb would have generate around 120k permonth ...at this rate it will take t.b around 6 years to achieve 100 percent return if rate remain same while Max 2 years to achieve 120 percent in the later...my inquisitivness is a s a result of why the likes of dangote,otedelo other don't just liquidate their asset and dump in t.b and stop work and play Golf ......i suspect this might be the answer....may be some one should have different classes of income generating asset....

I go for secondary markets and take tenors that matured same season then I converge and invest in primary bid. I bid once a year in primary market and severally in secondary market. Like now, I have bills for September and October,, 3, 10, 31,17. So first November auction will be my jackpot and the circle continues.

Nb am not advocating for investors to go and buy trucks oooh...but to have other income source higher than 12 percent tb rate.... if u have the time to run the bussiness...it can be a combination of salary and tb or bond and salary or rent and tb or biz and tb or stock and tb etc

If u don't have 35m u can raise it via like minded investor may 4 of u then to register a company with 35m share capital u need like 450k from cac....u can also buy a lincense from a willing seller feel free to ask any question but on this thread I have been getting tones of beggarly massage and babes trying to toast me

With the income you are making, you will need 12months to get your capital. Always remember machines have salvage value. Start comparing with tb after you recoup your capital. Meanwhile this gain margin is excessively impressive. I wish everyone planning to join the biz a big luck. I stick to what works for me.
