lexy2014: You're asking a lot of emotional and sentimental questions that i shouldn't even bother answering but let me indulge you. He didn't write the constitution, the constitution gave such leverage to almost all government officials to have their cars changed almost every year. your president decided not to change the vehicle he inherited, let say Jonathan bought the car in 2014, the president decided to use it till 2019, now changed it, you're asking if it spoilt? what kinda question is that? Show me one country in the world that waits for their president's car to spoil first before they change it. SHOW ME ONE. Wether he drives the car once in 200 years or not, the president is entitled to a change of car almost every year, he didn't change his for 5 years and you're here asking funny questions. Look for something else to wail on and not on this. NO NIGERIAN PRESIDENT has done or managed presidential properties like Buhari in 20 years. 1 Like 1 Share |

somehow: Except d meaning of emotional and sentimental has changed, I clearly don't no what u are referring. Yea I asked u "is d car spoilt?" Is d question 2 big 4u to answer? D questions I asked u are valid& d answers will obviously puncture whatever argument (that is if u have any) u may want to bring forth. U say u want 2 indulge me yet u are asking me "what type of question is that"? From ur post above, what have u indulged? How has buhari managed presidential properties better than his predecessors? Facts pls. Can u pls quote d portion of d constitution that u say gives govt officials d liberty to change cars every year? That will b most helpful. Pls here are my questions. This time, pls "indulge me": lexy2014: |

some folks here are so dumb...so it is out of place for mr president to drive a 200mili plus vehicle wen CEOs of ordinary coys buys mote expensive vehicle...plus this man used for 4years a vehicle left behind by the clueless one....having rejected a 400mili replacement. Some of y'all will die of hate soon |

ivandragon: The decision in presidential settings are not self inclined. There are protocols and procedure, as a matter of fact, all of the budget must be dully approved by the senate. And ofcourse the senate cabinet is not moderated by only APC. In a nut shell, the purchase at presidential settings are not solely decided by Mr. President. Procurement department alone harbours a lot of intelligent Nigerian who wouldn't condone acts that would render them for questioning in future. From various responses so far, its obvious a lot of us know very little or nothing about governance as a whole. We should work on ourselves and save ourselves from personal embarrassment on social arena. |

vengertime: I can't help but laugh really loud, in fact a lots of comments in politics section today is just making me laugh. While I can understand how you feel, see you have to force yourself to grow to a stage where you become immune to all this news or else you're inviting High BP. You should know by now that all these politicians are after their own self-gain, they don't understand concept of governance so your high expectation will only bring you heart-ache. The patriotic/nationalists era is now history, this is where we now find ourselves. |

Not interested in beating about the bush. when you show me a country where the president only changes car when the current one spoils, all other stuffs you're talking about are irrelevant. If not changing president car for 5 years is not a new development different from what we have known for 20 years, then i can't help you think further. Have a nice day. lexy2014: 1 Like |

somehow: U have no bush 2 beat around cos u have absolutely no idea what u are talking about. U have made several claims but aren't able to follow up with facts 2 defend ur claims. 1. U said d constitution grants liberty to public officials to change their cars every year. I have asked u to quote d section& d subsection where it is in d constitution. But now u are running away cos u have lied. U have made up Info that doesn't exist just 2 try to buttress ur argument which I told u earlier that u don't have. So if u can knowingly lie, then what credibility do u have to defend d president? 2. U said d president has managed presidential properties better than his predecessors. I also asked u 2 provide facts and evidence, but alas, once again, ur lies have caught up with u& u are on d run. It baffles me y despite u are ignorant on a subject, u now choose to claim knowledge only to tell lies in order 2 defend what u no little or nothing about. Have u ever heard of mileage in vehicle parlance? Are u aware of how a car depreciates? If u can't say how many times d president uses his car in a day or in a week, how do u now say its justified buying a new one? If a private citizen changes his or her every year, how many times does a private citizen use his/her car compared 2d number of times d president uses his? These are pertinent questions that scare u much more than ISIS. I didn't in d course of my discussion with u make reference 2 any foreign country. Its u who brought in foreign country into d discussion. Maybe u can shed more light on that. I only asked u things that u as a graduate that u will say u are, are supposed 2b able to relate with. Everyday things that everyone should no. Unfortunately, u can't even relate with what I said or u maybe u can but d truth will b too heavy 4u to accept. U can't even think 4 urself and u saying u want 2 think 4 me. How's that possible? |
