For demolishing what Okorocha called "The hand of God" I strongly support the demolition.

Though maybe Ihedioha could have just break that hand off and replace it with a light tower instead of demolishing the whole edifice.

Ihedioha should however build something worthy on the site.

Going Naija way.

Okorocha might not have been an excellent governor, but that does not mean everything about his govt should be rubbished.
That was the problem with Yaradua, he exerted is energy in undoing some of Obasanjo's legacies without having time to do his own.

The People Whose Land Were Forcefully Taken By Okorocha Are Demolishing Akachi: Not Governor Emeka Ihedioha or any agent of the government.

Let it be known to all and sundry that the newly sworn-in Imo state Governor, His Excellency, RT. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha CON, did not authorise the demolition of this structure.

What happened was that the family whose land were forcefully taken by the outgone Gov. Rochas Okorocha administration without due process had gone to court to challenge the unlawful acts of the despotic former governor and won back their family land from the tribunals.

Gov. Emeka Ihedioha whom his predecessor ran away from handing over to could not have had any document on any of the state government's projects or properties and hence could not have authorised the demolition in vacuum in less than 24hrs after being sworn in.

His Excellency Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha is a known meticulous public administrator who can not carry out government functions without having documents to back off his actions.

If the state government under Governor Ihedioha will carry out state functions, they will not be carried out by an unknown labourer with one excavator.

These are some of the many wasteful ventures that the former governor will be leaving for his successor: many debt from won court cases against the state government due to lack of due process in governance.

Please kindly disregard the cheap blackmails directed at the new government by mischief makers with poorly executed propaganda.

Those occultic monuments must come down with statues of unwholesome people erected by Rochas to play politics.

It is a sin to erect statues of criminals alongside statues of true heroes of Imo state and humanity.

I am waiting for 'expert advisers that will come here and tell us it is a waste of money to take down some imbecilic statues and monuments

Let it stand.

If another governor comes and destroy the structure established by Governor Emeka Ihedioha he will not be happy.

Destroying such structures also makes it difficult for the EFCC to look into the financial books of the Rochas Okorocha administration as the ex-governor will claim what he spent Imolites money for was destroyed.

Remember Crude Oil money will not be available for too long to sustain this needless wastages of public money.

IN DELTA STATE, THE FORMER GOVERNOR, DR. EMMANUEL UDUAGHAN WASTED PUBLIC FUND TRYING TO COPY LAGOS BRT LANE SYSTEM IN THE POPULAR WARRI/EFFURUN SAPELE ROAD.

Dr Uduaghan never took time to study Lagos BRT lane system to understand its technicalities ( maybe he was looking for way to loot public fund )

Dr uduaghan hurried introduced the BRT Lane stretching from Warri Sapele Road down to Effurun roundabout wasting public funds and destroying the shops of traders whose store is by the road side.

At the end of the day with the coming of the governor Okowa led administration, the new government thought it wise to remove the BRT Lane structures because it was contributing to traffic congestion along the popular Warri Effurun Sapele road.

But it was a massive waste of public funds by the Dr. Uduaghan administration.

Dr. Udughan also wasted public funds amounting to billions of naira in one of his pet projects called WARRI INDUSTRIAL PARK.

The project is lying uncompleted and forgeting to history books along Chevron / NPA Expressway by Delta state Broadcasting Office Edjeba, Warri.

THAT IS THE MASSIVE WASTAGES POLITICIANS WHO STARTED FROM 1999 TILL DATE HAS BEEN DOING.
