Thank you! My phone is giving me so crazy warning about the app, but I'll just go my settings and allow it to download.

It would come in handy for the AFCON.

Only God knows how much Effiom's father paid Aigbogun before this tournament.

Lol...Tijani starting baffles me...
It is so clear that Aigbogun does not watch the clips of previous matches...

Haha!! Nna, I have been out mourning the FC Barcelona's unimaginable collapse at Anfield and, at the same time, carrying out a twitter campaign against JM Bartomeu and Ernesto Valverde. Those two men must leave my football clubs because we can't allow what happened this year to happen again.... ever! angry sad shocked

Do you honestly think Barcelona owed you anything?
Barcelona don't owe you nothing, through some weird and frightening loyalty you believe you feel for the club.
Even if you missed a game or an entire season, Barcelona won't call you to find out if you still like them. cry

Nna how does Bartomeu's presidency go

I heard he cannot step down except for a corruption case or his 8 year tenure expire

I hear Ozornwafor's absence has to do with fitness.

As for Emeka, he is simply too young to play. Aigbogun is allergic to young boys.

The man is the worst thing to ever happen to Barca. I think he hates Messi and doesn't want Messi to win any more individual laurels. Hence, he kept wasting money on useless players and kept hiring mediocre coaches.

Remember that he even questioned whether it makes sense to offer Messi the max contract extension after they extended Neymar's contract!

And I don't owe them anything either. I am more of a Messi fan than Barca fan, believe it or not. I actually fight with them all the time on twitter. I think the football club is very clannish. Could you believe that some of these fans are out there salvaging players like Coutinho, Rakitic, and even Suarez on twitter! And yet they won't say a word against the likes of Jordi Alba, Sergio Busquets, Sergio Roberto, and even Pique. But trust me to always call them to order grin

Bottom line, I don't really see myself supporting Barca once Leo retires.

SEE WHAT OUR NFF PRESIDENT HAVE TO SAYS ABOUT U20

NFF Boss Pinnick Names Two Nigeria U20 Players Who Have Impressed Him The Most At World Cup
Published: May 30, 2019
Nigeria Football Federation President, Amaju Pinnick has refused to criticize the Flying Eagles despite their qualification hopes hanging by a thread at the ongoing FIFA U20 World Cup following their 2-0 loss to the United States.
Pinnick has taken positives from their first two games in Poland and picked Manchester City midfielder Tom Dele-Bashiru and Enyimba's Ikouwem Udo Utin as the players who have caught his eye in the tournament so far.
''It's a developmental tournament, I believe in as much as possible you want to criticize the team, you find out there are a lot of pluses in the team,'' said Pinnick to TV Continental.
''Look at the boy from Manchester City (Dele-Bashiru), look at the other players. They are young, look at Utin the left full back. You know that in a few years, this guy will develop into the Super Eagles, that is what we are out for.
''These are developmental tournaments, the important thing is for them to be in the world stage.
''I am not saying we don't want to win this tournament, we want to win. The major reason is developmental.''
Utin provided two assists in the Flying Eagles 4-0 rout of Qatar, while Dele-Bashiru netted on his international debut in the same game.

Must all of us be a stakeholder before the right thing can be done?

You can be if you aspire to be.

I think it is one of the two ways I suggested to get things done.

if it was really a development programme
they 'ld have told the scary Aigbogun to at least go with
real under 20 players...go to the academics and recruit players
who are truly under 20.

Pinnick should save us this talk

Im predicting Nigeria to win 2-1.

Im not saying Nigeria are favorites to go far in this tournament, but the reason we lost so badly is because the USA is the best team in our group. Don't get it twisted, we're still not that good.

If i am NFF chairman, i'd make the screening for under 17 and under 20 more stringent. No player that has finished secondary school for more than 1 year would even be considered for under 17 unless they have multiple verifiable documents. Their WAEC certificate, and even 1st school leaving certificate where available. Any document presented will be verified from source. MRI will take care of anyone that slips through.

For under 20, anyone that has finished secondary school for more than 3-4 years would not even be looked at unless they can provide multiple verifiable documents to prove their case.

we have had enough of NPFL players lately.... only God knows what some of them in poland have in store for us against Ukraine
so the lad can go play for Benin Rep... i wish many other nationals can as well join him...

it is obvious many good players can be found in the nigeria academics... that's hwere many of the current home groomed in the super eagles hails from e.g Chuks, Oshimen, Awaziem etc.....
unlike the NPFL where many of the players there have possibly remove 3-5 years from their age and often head to eastern europe and north africa whenever they move abroad

The guy is a Beninese....

You can't blame those npfl players that reduce their ages . in Africa, football is seen as a means of escaping poverty. everybody wanna make it.. And given the poor structure of our league, abroad is the best resort for most of these players..

Most NPFL clubs are being run like government organization. poor players welfare and late/non payment of salary..

Aside from Dele-Bashir, the other Regulars that could not make the starting XI is due to Injury.

Which 5years? 10years minimum daz what they removed. Those that removed like 3-5years are the ones that look very young.

I had a friend who was 25years then real age( those small small ones you see on d field; the u17 type)... He told me his football age is 16yr.

Even secondary school students age cheat. I think it's better now, cos many young kids are in senior classes not like before.
