Which 5years? 10years minimum daz what they removed. Those that removed like 3-5years are the ones that look very young.

I had a friend who was 25years then real age( those small small ones you see on d field; the u17 type)... He told me his football age is 16yr.

Imagine Musa claiming 18 in 2011 when I was 20 then nd dis guy if I mistakely call am Musa dem go beat... I must say bros.
Lol.... I support Tlaba idea in curbing this age cheat menace

With this 10:0 scoreline of Norway vs Honduras.

Nigeria is in a big trouble.

Now we need to play at least a draw against Ukraine to increase our chances.

If i am NFF chairman, i'd make the screening for under 17 and under 20 more stringent. No player that has finished secondary school for more than 1 year would even be considered for under 17 unless they have multiple verifiable documents. Their WAEC certificate, and even 1st school leaving certificate where available. Any document presented will be verified from source. MRI will take care of anyone that slips through.

For under 20, anyone that has finished secondary school for more than 3-4 years would not even be looked at unless they can provide multiple verifiable documents to prove their case.
Simple & Effective

Mmm... regarding Musa, its been 10 years already and the man is still balling.. no sign of old age or decline there ..
Forget the fact that he is playing in Saudi Arabia,he is still good!
I see him balling more for a few more years.. might even make Qatar 2022 grin

When did they stop schooling? A man who dropped out in JSS3.. we can estimate when he was supposed to finish.. Very few did not go to school at all.

I watched one of their matches...they play very well...more compact and clinical in front of goal...
likewise newzealand and Argentina team...
they barely miss chances.

Countries like Honduras and Tahiti are the reasons I support icon4s suggestion that FIFA should award more slot to Africa and less to north America for these underage tournaments...

Then u are still depending on honesty of the schools.

People who never attended school might be few but they do exist.

c'mon that make the tournament beautiful...
this countries makes it easy for some whipped countries in the group to get some goals and flex their muscles...

for example Tahiti in 2013 confederations cup...made it possible for oduamadi to ever get am hatrick for Nigeria and for Nigeria to get any positives for that tourney....

I don't oga icon... who knows one day they may beat one unserious nation....

Honduras needs it. Gang violence is crazy there. If not for this tournament some of them would be dead already. It is that real.

Agreed but Tahiti are on their own continent with Solomon island and co ,and Tahiti must be there so you can't prevent them

But as for the North Americans ,Africans are far ahead of them
