The way they fumbled and wobbled past Zambia in 2007 and then got spanked by Chile?

Taliban:

They could fumble and wobble into the QF. Anything can happen in the game of soccer.

Foreign coach for under age competition!? Hmm! I don't think it is a good idea.

but what else do you expect when the indigenous coaches are corrupt and clueless.

Agreed but Tahiti are on their own continent with Solomon island and co ,and Tahiti must be there so you can't prevent them

But as for the North Americans ,Africans are far ahead of them

Not true, Tahiti is in same continent with New Zealand and that is Oceania. That continent has no business producing 2 representatives when Africa and S/America have 4 each.

Also one slot should be taken away from North America.

U av just highlighted d problem, dis players might not b too gud,but dis is u-20 not world cup, deir talent is enuf to take us far,d problem am cin with dis is d coach,

D players are below average, but with d right selection from Paul, don't b surprise,we might get to d very last end of dis competition smiley

The coach has a lot of work to do. I hope he improves his team selection.

Assuming the team beats Senegal on Monday, they’d face Japan or South Korea in the quarterfinals. It would take a miracle for the FE to go past either team because their technique and speed is truly astonishing.

Nigeria would likely meet Senegal.
cry

They need to fix up. We are going to meet one of the better teams and we will be punished for a lot of what we have gotten away with if we don't improve.

Okon seems to be the missing link in the Super Eagles. With him in the midst of SE, we can go places.

He is just good.

Are you joking? Same fellow we just saw today. All pace no finesse. Brother please you are joking.

NIGERIA HAS QUALIFIED

How?

Nigeria are ahead of 2 other teams who have finished 3rd thus far.

Poland 4pts +3GD
Nigeria 4pts +2GD
Ecuador 4pts -1GD
Norway 3pts +8GD.

We have 2 more teams to join the List of 3rd placed teams.
We are definitely finishing among the best 4 third placed teams. No permutations can change that.

What if Panama and Portugal scored 4 and 5 goals against Saudi Arabia and South Africa respectively Panama is in 1point whereas Portugal in 3point

Though I didn't get to see the first half but from what I saw in the second half, I can see both teams pressed and pressured each other especially the Ukrainians. They defended with all their players and were very solid at the defence.

However, Nigeria controlled the game from start to finish in the second half and that was what led to the penalty.

Somehow, their game has improved from the previous ones.

Maybe because some players were introduced

Thank God to injuries and USA...its like our coach is making better selection as the competition progresses....he is learning on the job...Igho with Ozornwafor is sure...Ofor is sure...that guy trying to play like Chukwueze too...Michael is landlord of the team...how i which he takes up the leadership of this team...how i wish Siasia is the coach....Siasia is a special championship coach...his teams grow as as competition progresses...a very dynamic youth coach

terrible idea sef, I think a guy like fidelis will do a better job, he's really interested in youth, he has really unearthed a lot of young players for MFM

He should be given the chance but I think those agents might entice him with money.

And the Enyimba u mentioned is in which league? If utin will be fortunate to Get a team in Europe I assure you that in just 2 years u will see alot of changes in his game.

I watched utin played at WAFU, CHAN, & U20 Afcon. Nothing will change about his game. Nothing has changed. He has no room for improvement as a leftback. Except he's made a left winger. He is not a small boy o. Is it because of the clean shave of his beards?

see no matter the brush, if they don't have the experience there's nothing anybody can do I believe there are genuine young professionals in our league just that the coach wasn't painstaking enough in his search

experience ke?
what's the essence of the friendlies and the nations cup if not to help them gain experience...
Tijani with all his experience and many NPFL players there...what do they have to deliver?

please experience don't really count much at this stage...all the players are almost in same level....

what matters now what they have in their socks...
many of the foreign players are not playing for the first team of their clubs but in the academics and feeders teams....

the coach messed up...

they think more about their future than indigenous coaches...
foreign coaches aim to use the national team job to get a club coaching job...

that's their aim and as a result they often choose to make sacrifices just to attain their long term goals...

but indigenous coaches don't think far...all they see is the national team and their pockets...should they loss their job...they will be hovering around till they're appointed again base on sentiments of being indigenous coach...and the cycle of failure continues...

they rarely do have ambition

You are the one that has a lot to learn about football.
