Even if Ogbu was fit ahead of the USA game, players selection 101 says u don't change a winning team. Especially as the team won by 4:0. There is that tendency to start same defense line especially as they kept a clean sheet. If Ogbu had played that US game and we lost by that 2:0 he would probably had been dropped for this game.

this you don't change a winning team is outdated please.

are you gonna compare the US and Qatar...everyone knows even the second 11 will whip teams like Qatar,Tahiti and Honduras etc...it is a know fact

for the fact a team wins a match does not mean the tape should not be re-watched and necessary changes should not be made prior the next march...

Mikel set was never 3rd and mikel set didn't play crappy football ,they lost 2-1 to Korea surprisingly with just 3 minutes left

Take a look at the group standings during 2005

That is what i was told but he was fine for the other game against USA. I am starting to doubt that fittness claim.

And Ofoborh was kept on the bench by Jamil... Ofoborh is clearly far better than Jamil. The gulf in class is too obvious.

Even if Ogbu was fit ahead of the USA game, players selection 101 says u don't change a winning team. Especially as the team won by 4:0. There is that tendency to start same defense line especially as they kept a clean sheet. Moreso, as he was just coming back from injury. If Ogbu had played that US game and we lost by that 2:0 he would probably had been dropped for this game.

Good u are beginning to see things from the positive side.

but the coach is not seeing it from the positive side nah.
he delights in hurting our eyes and emotions....

Tijani today was an eyesore.....it is was if the coach was Tijani agent hence the need to market him by all means...even left him to take the 2nd penalty...

He was among those young ones that removed 2-3years.

Which 3 years musa comot ?

Musa comot nothing less than 5 years

The players that removed 3 or 2 years from their age are those players that played the 2013 u17 World Cup and even some of the 2015

Musa will play for long and I see him playing in Qatar 2022 even if it's as a sub

Make I end here before I talk more

Why isn't Rohr coaching in France he has had enough jobs in Africa so that should show that he is not ambitious according to oga Humility017

can you compare rohr seriousness on the job to any of our indigenous coaches so far...?

can you compare his backroom staffs to that of our indigenous coaches thus far?.

can you compare his extra effort and his personal scouts to that of our indigenous coaches thus far?
and mind you this man pay most of these men from his salary....

If you're conversant with his interviews he hasn't ruled out the possibility of going back to club coaching preferably Bordeaux.....

so it is well to say....He sees the super eagles as a means to an end and not an end in itself....

it's like you didn't read my post very well....

let me tell you...most foreign coaches take up national team coaching jobs to enhance their CV so as to make it easy for them to get club coaching jobs....

but that not to be with Nigerians....

Agreed when he was 17/18 years and was the top scorer In the npfl playing for Kano pillars

At least he is miles ahead better than those ones that remove 10 years from their age parading as u20

You people should stop handpicking some individual players for praise because to me, all of them were poor. As in very poor!

Their final third play was an eyesore, terrible should be the word.

There was no penetrating pass or good delivery.

All the Makunjoila, Oforbor, Okon, Iguh talk is all bullshit to me.

Utim the captain was the biggest disappointment on the field. Old man claiming u20.

Don't even get me started on the coach Paul.. This big fool had more than a year after his appointment to give us a team and this is the trash he can offer us?

I have seen good football and footballers in Nigeria abeg, this team is certainly not our present best-known Hell!.. Not even our third best.

Poor, poor, poor for me. It was torture watching them play.

11 street boys from Lokoja here will give these Grandpas a football lesson angry

Regardless of our qualification, Paul Aigbogun should be sacked angry . He is a fraud!!!

most of the players coach Austin took to the nation's cup in 2006 and they delivered...
they play well if not for inexperience that caught up with them against ivory coast and okocha claim of big boy simply because he played with Austin before....

he was not humble enough to allow him coach him... he never feature not until Drogba scored an off side goal
