OK Insults, Arguments And Infinix Better Than Xiaomi Everywhere... Let's Have A Good Conversation Like The Good Ol' Days Of The Thread....

1.Redmi K20 Pro Vs A Base Mi 9.
2.Redmi K20 Vs Original Mi 8.

I Personally Prefer The Mi 9,But I Like The Headphone Jack, Updated 7Th Gen Fingerprint, I Like The Gradient Back, Bigger Battery, So Beautiful cheesy But The Flagship Status Of the Mi 9 And Some Nice Wireless Charging. What Do You Guys Think?

I joined this thread last year as a Tecno user. I had used the L9+ and upgraded to LA7 the week it was released but after I saw the specs on Redmi Note 5, na once I switch over and became a believer. This thread helped me with that. Now I'm a proud Note 7 user. This is our thread. If you no like Xiaomi please leave. Thanks.

1. I pick the Redmi K20 Pro over the Mi 9.

The bigger battery is a big plus for me as well as the headphone jack. Take it or leave it a traditional headphone jack still produces better output than Bluetooth or wireless. I hardly use my IR blaster so I wouldn't notice it's absence. Wireless charging is a thing but the fast charger on the K20 Pro is ok for me.

If you just got the device disable WiFi Scanning, update if there is any pending system update.

Also check your battery graph poor network is rampant these days and it is reducing battery performance

So i went to visit xiaomi office at ikeja to repair my broken camera screen on my RN7 device, getting to the office building b4 otigba junction at computer village at ikeja, the security personnel told me that that was just their office building, dat d showroom is just opposite d office ,dat i wil have to go to raya ( just after the bridge, turn right b4 cash and carry) to make any repairs to my xiaomi device.
Well i said nothing spoil since i dn start mak i finish d journey so i headed to raya, on getting there,i was greeted with tope alabi song all through ( they wer lucky she is the only yoruba gospel musician i enjoy even though i b confam delta boy),i met a lady who attended to me though she was nt jovia or any ish bt she was nt bad either. Told her what i came to do then i got d shocker, they actually have d part to b replaced in store bt they said xiaomi have nt given them the amount to bill customers who come to have a phone repairs ( dntl knw if it is for all parts or just d camera screen), she told me to leave the phone and come back later that it will be repaired within 7 working days and i will be called to knw d price b4 commencement of repairs to which i could not cuz i will be needing to travel my weekend so i just collected the ladys num promising to call back and left with my phone.

The Xiaomi keep more details and not too exposed, while the Infinix is too exposed and lack details when u zoom in...

I personally will go for the K20PRO, not for aesthetics but because the battery is better, the price is even cheaper, the jack, the good old jack is retained and I agree with genius43 that the output from the jack is still better than the Bluetooth earphones. I have both, so I can testify. The screen is the same. I have held the Mi9 and I won't lie it looks very very pleasing on the eyes, a beauty to behold but I'll go for the K20PRO any day, any time. If I need the iR blaster, I have another phone with that feature so definitely not a deal breaker.
As for the K20 and Mi8, the K20 is almost the same with the Pro the differences are the charging speeds, camera and chipset. So for these reasons I'll still choose the K20 over the Mi8 after all the SD 730 is a quasi-flagship SoC.

Please guys I have been trying to flash TWRP to my RN7, but it's not working.
At first, after flashing, I was being asked to put password (I had to wipe data to by pass this, and my phone came back as if it's a brand new phone).
I used another method of flashing, but after following the process, still it will not take me to the TWRP reboot.
Please guys in the house help me out abeg.

NB: I am using REDMI NOTE 7 (Chinese version)

Thanks

Use this tutorial. This was what I used to flash TWRP , magisk and Lazy flasher on my redmi 5 plus. The place where you have to send the files to your phone, just copy the files in the root of your SD card

NB- The ADB file, magisk file and lazy flasher files in the YouTube note will work for you, just try and get Lavender twrp below
