jokes aside, today i have discovered something really scary, that Nigerian national budget is at 8.9 Trillion naira! or roughly about $25 billion, correct me if am wrong. while Kenyans budget is at $27 billion dollars. Nigeria this is where your problem lies, a small country like Kenya should not have a bigger budget than Nigeria, how much do you allocate for education,healthcare and other esential services with such a small budget compared to your large population?

Kenya has led Africa in allocation of funds to the education sector for the last 6 years, with allocation accounting to over 23% of the national budget, these is one of the reason, Kenyan graduates are more than the entire east Africa graduates combined. education is what will drive Africa going forward not natural resources.

true, with the coming into power of the current administration, there was a lot of hope with irrigation agriculture as they had promised to put 1 million acres under irrigation, these projects have since collapsed leaving the country vulnerable to food insecurity, right now with the deal to export avocados to china, many maize (corn) farmers are thinking of planting avocados in place of maize which is the country's staple food. i guess we will import more maize from comesa region like never before going forward.
