Don't give any agent your money, make use of Daad.de and search for schools. Your GP is low that's true, you can apply to private Universities yourself their admission process is easy and stress free however you have to have enough money to pay tuition and block your account. GISMA is a private business school in Berlin, is highly recommended if you have the money and there are others that are not too expensive. So start searching now time is almost going for winter.

Viel gluck.

Alright thanks,

I know, nigerian university frustrated the s### out of me. My plan was to go for another BSc, I will be 23 by october, the agencies talked about me being too old for another Bsc.

so if i decide to pursue the Bsc like i said, would i qualify?

and if so, how do i start, for someone who has 0 knowledge of german language.

do i apply for a language school first in germany or apply for an admission in a german state school? I really want to be among the next batch, the block account and payments arent a problem now.

just need advise onhow to go about it. thanks

ps- anyone can reply please

Hello guys, please I need help.

I am looking at getting admission into MSc, I graduated with a CGPA of 2.8 from computer science in a federal university here in Nigeria.

I contacted some agencies about doing my Msc in germany, they said they can only get me a private school because my cgpa isn't high. I want to apply for Msc in IT security or Information technology and communications management.

now they have charged me as much as 1000 euros to help me get admission and visa, when I know I still have to pay fees that run up to 15,000 euros.

So I would love to know please, will it be possible for me to get admission in a german state uni for MSc with free tuition?
Also, does anybody know anything about GISMA business school (this is one of the private schools offered to me),, they teach in english and the fees is euros12,000 but the lady at the agency said the MSc is 2 years and i will pay the 12,000euros for the first year to learn german and some other basic courses but on the website all i see is 12,000 for 1 year masters program.

I am asking because i am interested in learning the language to work while schooling and even after schooling to boost my cv with work experience and also to be bilingual, as I plan on using it to apply for canada later on.

so please what would be your advise?

You don't need any agent for this, even for private universities like Gisma. Go to their website and follow the guidelines. €1000 is 400k Naira fa! Why waste such scarce something!

Dont be lazy. You are a graduate , do your research yourself; read through this thread from part3 ; start searching formasters in your fiel using daad.de; computer science and IT related courses are hot cakes in Germany especially if you good with programming. A lot of people have gotten masters admission with Cgpa lower than what you have.

Thanks, I quite understand, i have done my research.

I just want to know, someone told me to apply for a language school in germany first, then after the 40 week language school i can get admission in a german state school.

is this an option?
Re: General German Student Visa Enquiries Part 6 by Pokarika(m): 4:00pm On May 31, 2019
Yo, your CGPA is okay. I got admitted to Cologne Business School with a 2.6 and I was even given a scholarship worth of 3k euros with country promotion of 2160 Euros. But the issue was it was a private business school and as such, isn't funded by the government and when the scholarship is spread across the whole 4 semesters, it wouldn't amount to shii. So I bounced. You don't need any agency to do shii for you and you can get into any Germany public school with your GP, just go through their requirements and stay away from any that specifically mentioned CGPA above yours. To be sure, when you see any course of your choice, just mail the course coordinator and explain your plight.
Calm down, bring out time and research schools and then apply. Good luck man.

Honestly I've not seen this matter before.

What I'll suggest is that, you use their contact form and message them and see what they will say. At the same time, start processing how your School will directly send your transcript to uni-assist.

Like i said earlier don't listen to any agent, remember their sole aim is to get money out of you. You are not too old to pursue another Bsc however you have to convince the VO why you are going for another Bsc. You need to write IELTS or TOEFL to get admission to English-taught programs. Some people use English proficiency letter from their universities but a lot of schools require the English cert so i will advice you write it to have more options. Then engage Daad to check for programs and please read the thread its very resourceful.

Hey bro. You are a good man.

You can even bring her to Germany while still studying through REUNION VISA. Germany is making family reunion easier, as I heard. I know someone who did that. But that person got married before getting Visa oo.

But let's consider your case. Know what you intend to fill in numerous registration when you get to Germany. Would you fill single or married knowing fully well that you would be single in your visa details? That shouldn't be a problem only that I have no idea of how that would look. May, in the end, not be an issue.

But then, what is generally needed is another blocked account amount for your wife and A1 level in German language plus other normal documents. So, she would have to start German class after your departure against that. A1 is easy to get, so no issues. Another important aspect is that you must provide evidence of accommodation for both of you here in Germany upon this Reunion application. This accommodation is 12sq-mtrs per person. So, for both of you, it's 24sq-mtrs. I think it is 6sq-mtrs for kids if you have any.

For more info, visit the German embassy website. But know that it is Family reunion you need and your wife will even be eligible to work in Germany. And it is even advisable to do it while a student (maybe after you settle down well, say after your first year).

What uniassist want is for your school to send them your transcript in a sealed envelope. But if you know some one in exams n records I will suggest u collect the transcript still intact (I mean sealed) and send to uniassist but use your school address as the sender. Reason am suggesting this is because schools take ages to send documents.
Secondly certify your result in a high court before sending.

I have another AL from OVGU magdeburg for a more preferred course but you need to put few things into consideration before deciding which I’m yet to make my research based on those criteria, I guess I’ll do that after receiving all admission letters...
