Acadavah: Yes Kenya leads Africa in Tea Avocado Horticulture Milk Listen here kenya is not blessed like Tanzania with abundant natural resources We depend on tea ,horticulture , avocado for foreign exchange And again kenya is 89% arid meaning only 11% of kenya land is good for agriculture And kenyans do farm food crops like maize and beans etc but it is never enough But Tanzania has huge arable lands you harvest bumper harvests every year So that is why you will sell us your maize And again this year the rains failed us so we expect to import more food from Tanzania ,Uganda etc that is why we are neighbours 1 Like |

I think in the insurance industry it is where we are doing great. It's great hearing that now even pastoralists can insure their cattle against drought among other natural occurring calamities! A total of 870,000 dollars has been paid to pastoralists this year,2019 as insurance cover for drought! This is commendable! We need more pastoralists to take up this cover! Being more than 80% arid, such a move is commendable! https://ibli.ilri.org/2019/03/19/the-kenya-government-declares-a-pay-out-of-ksh87-million-to-cushion-6000-pastoralists-from-the-effects-of-drought/ 1 Like

w1234:buhari made an about-turn, he is actually thinking of signing it, i read somewhere this week, it would be great to have nigeria sign the acfta, they can benefit a lot from it, personal i'd prefer a nigerian dominated african trade over south africa or egypt, they are authentically African 3 Likes |

w1234:correct, skills like plumbing, carpentry, welding and fabrication etc are the ones that pays the bills, you can end up in an unemployment corner with a degree but never with these skills, here our Govt as scored big, try visit the technical university and see what the chinese and the kenyan Govt is doing with technical skills education there. |

cossano:Nigeria don't care where you come from as long as you're from Africa. And one thing I noticed about our country is that, if you as a foreigner commit crime in Nigeria, they will keep you in a safe place and it will be hard for them to announce it on media's like others do. We have Kenyans who are living in Nigeria and doing well too. 2 Likes

Yobeezy:i like this tone, lets sober up, and compare like for like. Nigeria is way richer than kenya, am kenyan and i have never doubted this fact. every country in sub-saharan africa has got its strength and weakness, we should also agree that nigeria however rich it is, is still punching below its weight. 4 Likes 1 Share |

Precisely - we need to raise enrollment from 200K to 1M - this is why Jubilee has been making it hard to get university - thro mass failures - that forces people to think TIVET. Germany is industrial giant thanks to TIVET (vocational colleges). We don't need all that many arts degrees graduates. cossano: 2 Likes |
