I don't know what you're talking about o and Ed is not accepting CVs for the position of DOF. Don't let the media fool you, nobody will take that position anytime soon. It's just Ed and OGS with his assistants.

Pep buys players very good players for 40-50m. Na the same market him dey go. Any player above 65m should be ignored abeg. The players won't play all the positions themselves

Honestly, I couldn't believe elrony is a better Scout, far better than many Scouts presently at the Club.

I don't see playing in Europa as a major reason why a player wouldn't sign for a club. The coach only needs to convince the player on how the club plan to get back to winning ways and if possible other transfer targets so the player knows the club is ambitious. I don't think it's that deep

Ordinarily it should not be, but with the calamitous management we have on board I won’t blame any player that hesitated because of that.

They certainly will set up any coach that comes in up for failure. That's why I don't believe in the Poch this or that. Any world class coach you can think of will need to spend millions before he can make headsway

City broke transfer records before they could build their current squad (Ederson, DeBriyne, Walker, Mahrez were the most expensive EPL signings in their respective positions at the time they were bought). *Not 100% sure about Mahrez.

Same with Liverpool- Allison, VVD.

The problem is knowing if these expensive players will solve a huge percentage of the problems in their positions - defense, midfield or attack, and that’s the job of OGS and his coaching crew.

If cash must be splashed, it must be splashed sensibly.

That's what we think but that's not the case. I don't think we're convincing the players enough on the plans for them and the club, we just want to solve all transfer issues with money. If the player is convinced, he will push for a transfer.

Spending the money to solve the problem will not be a bad decision. Spending it on the right players is another thing. When Pep was spending everyone kinda knew where he was going and what he intended to achieve. His reputation and Arab money kinda made it easy.

Again we have the Glazers as owners, are they willing to spend or are they interested in something else. Its Manchester united and I believe that should count for something to these players apart from seeing the $ they would get.

If this is the problem who is supposed to do the convincing? Ed or OGS? And poeple kinda have a problem with both of them. Some think OGS is deficient tactically and might spend effort convincing the wrong players while others believe Ed na commercial tins him dey good at. Wanting to solve the issues with money can be a problem and solution depending on how we go about it.
