We know there will be no Igbo president. This is certain! If Nigeria crumbles because of that its even better....then Igbos will be delighted to finally have Biafra.

Yes they need the presidency come 2023 but it won't come on a platter of gold. They need to fight for it..

But is the the igbos that are already supporting the Hausa /fulani for 2023? Because they feel they can't dig it out with the Yoruba... Igbos have destroyed all the chances they have because of hate. They hate the Yoruba and also hate the hausas so who wld support them to become the President?

And you tunji love Igbos right??
Let God and your conscience judge you..

I can see that Ayo Adebanjo is trying to maintain contradictory positions in an attempt to please some people.

We all know that the Afenifere group have been talking from both sides of the mouth about the Igbo Presidency and like I have said before, I don't trust a Yoruba man politically because he still hasn't committed to a clear cause of action and always talking out of both sides of his mouth which is akin to lying.
NOW LET ME ASK YOU? When Yorubas do not support S/E presidency you think of them as bad, today An Afenifere leader speaks in favour of S/E presidency you still don't see sense in it. What then is your problem I beg.

Re: Ayo Adebanjo: No Igbo President, No Nigeria by NaMeAboki: 11:11am On Jun 01, 2019
This Igbo presidency is blackmail card that had been over used and out dated for far too long.

It is fundamentally flawed and has no place in our democracy - unless if we are in a dictatorship in the absence of free will and choice.

As far as I know there is no law or obstacle preventing any Igbo man or woman from joining any party and being voted for or voting for a person of his/her choice - just as we witnessed in this immediate past election where there were at least two Igbo candidates (Moghalu & Ezkewesili) who the vast majority of Igbos rejected in preference for (Atiku) yet another Fulani.

How therefore is it the fault of other Nigerians that Igbos have so far failed to reached the presidency?

Forget it man,the Afenifere are the only wise people in the west.
Those elders are straightforward people. They know fully well that what's good for the SE is good for the SS and for the SW.
They see the big picture, which is basically getting rid of these retrogressive northerners from taking us ever backwards

You are just living in self denial and believing in a lie and and are very dishonest and I pity you.

I am from Edo and I cannot tell you I love someone who says no to true Federalism and restructuring and resources control. I cannot say I love someone who says no to regionalism.
I cannot say I love someone who will allow his people to explore solid minerals in the north but disallow and kill youths who just tap and refine a little crude for their survival.
How can I process love for.my own leader that calls me inconsequential 5% but who cannot survive without my natural resources?
I work at sea. Go to Nimasa and see mallams everywhere.
Everyone's thinking it but only the igbos are saying it.
It's not just about hatred,we can't continue to live in fools' paradise.
we are all fed up with the injustice in the country.

The igbos have never laid hands on any tribe the way the fulani and northerners do yet,any little thing about the igbos, you guys will start crying all over town.

People look to invest where there is opportunity and the locals fail to see it

Why they dont build factory in the east ...cost of labour is very very high

Very good observation.
So how does a state progress without investment. That's the root cause that needs to be fixed.
Thats why it is not advisable to compare these states to SW states that enjoy massive investment.

They have been told many times to stop voting any candidate into office in Iboland if he/she has properties in Lagos and Abuja, they dont hear. The ones like Innoson that invest at home and live at home are the true builders of political capacity needed to draw attention to an Ibo candidate, not people like Kalu, Ubah, Obi, Ihedioha and so on. Unfortunately Ibos are charmed by foreign identity and reward those with presence in Lagos, Abuja, Kaduna with political victory into government house. Home based investors are not respected and that kills their political growth.

Spot on.

Every Yoruba man na Lagos this Lagos that,is lagos not built by FG as the former capital of Nigeria tongue , use a Yoruba city to compare and stop running to Lagos that has all Nigerians as it stakeholders just like Abuja.

Lagos is thier pride in SW
What's your own in SE?

I know Yoruba friends that have never been to the East and sincerely don't see any need to go there. And dats simply because SW is comfortable and convenient for him.

Whereas every Igbo man's dream is to come to SW mostly Lagos!!!! cheesy cheesy cheesy cheesy

Shame
