This Igbo presidency is blackmail card that had been over used and out dated for far too long. It is fundamentally flawed and has no place in our democracy - unless if we are in a dictatorship in the absence of free will and choice. As far as I know there is no law or obstacle preventing any Igbo man or woman from joining any party and being voted for or voting for a person of his/her choice - just as we witnessed in this immediate past election where there were at least two Igbo candidates (Moghalu & Ezkewesili) who the vast majority of Igbos rejected in preference for (Atiku) yet another Fulani. How therefore is it the fault of other Nigerians that Igbos have so far failed to reached the presidency? 4 Likes 1 Share |

JasonScoolari: Forget it man,the Afenifere are the only wise people in the west. Those elders are straightforward people. They know fully well that what's good for the SE is good for the SS and for the SW. They see the big picture, which is basically getting rid of these retrogressive northerners from taking us ever backwards 2 Likes |

tunjijones: You are just living in self denial and believing in a lie and and are very dishonest and I pity you. I am from Edo and I cannot tell you I love someone who says no to true Federalism and restructuring and resources control. I cannot say I love someone who says no to regionalism. I cannot say I love someone who will allow his people to explore solid minerals in the north but disallow and kill youths who just tap and refine a little crude for their survival. How can I process love for.my own leader that calls me inconsequential 5% but who cannot survive without my natural resources? I work at sea. Go to Nimasa and see mallams everywhere. Everyone's thinking it but only the igbos are saying it. It's not just about hatred,we can't continue to live in fools' paradise. we are all fed up with the injustice in the country. The igbos have never laid hands on any tribe the way the fulani and northerners do yet,any little thing about the igbos, you guys will start crying all over town. 2 Likes |

mrvitalis: Very good observation. So how does a state progress without investment. That's the root cause that needs to be fixed. Thats why it is not advisable to compare these states to SW states that enjoy massive investment. |

Odingo1: Lagos is thier pride in SW What's your own in SE? I know Yoruba friends that have never been to the East and sincerely don't see any need to go there. And dats simply because SW is comfortable and convenient for him. Whereas every Igbo man's dream is to come to SW mostly Lagos!!!! Shame 3 Likes |
