Buyers should also take their time to do a simple check on deal hunters or sellers before transacting. (That's what I do at least).
Just simply click the username and read the individual's posts. There you will see if the individual has had any or similar issues in the past. If he/she has runnnn!!!!!.
Also take your time to read through the thread to see how things are done, see how transactions are made before jumping in. (At least that's what I did when I was new). Its better you equip yourself with information before getting involved. Don't just come in and start asking questions you can find the answer to by simply taking a few hours to read through the previous posts on the thread.
Finally it's just so unfortunate that "a few" sellers here use the fact that the forum is anonymous to try to play a fast one on others. I bet you if those had shops where buyers could transact all these will NEVER happen.
So ridiculous.

It's just very unfortunate that most deal hunters are now turning bad or maybe "badness" has been in them all along. Most deal hunters are not living up to the hype/respect people have for them at all, almost every week i get complaints from buyers that these deal hunter did this, that hunter did that and it pains me to my bone marrow because most of these buyers are just tryna survive, I'm still tryna resolve about 2 issues now since last week but the deal hunters are not so cooperating. Imagine selling 2 items to a buyer and when its time to receive, you're telling them oh, only one item arrived because picker picked only one so i have to refund you blah blah blah (thats after money has stayed with deal hunter for about 1 week), are you willing to add interest to the money? At the point picker picked only one, inform your buyer and refund him ASAP, if he wants to leave the money with you till next transaction let him tell you, stop holding on to people's money for your own selfish gain. Deal hunters would sell items as TLC, picker would say items are available for pick up, its will now be a problem for buyer to collect because it came in deal hunters name, deal hunter would be giving excuses, 2 3 4 5 days, its not fair at all.

Also, deal hunter would reluctantly agree to refund a buyer, 3 weeks 4 weeks, 2 months no refund haba make una dey fear God now. They will be calling you, you wont pick call, you wont reply their messages but you you're online doing other business transactions, please lets have the fear of God in us, because we're are not physically present in the same location doesnt mean we cant have each others back and trust one another. All these lies, cutting corners and dishonesty is giving the good guys bad name, Proverbs 22 vs 1 says, a good name is to be chosen rather than great riches. Money is good, yeah, we all wanna make huge profits but it shouldn't be at the detriment of your buyer.

And buyers too, try to conclude a business transaction with one hunter before jumping unto another deal with him. A deal hunter has refused to refund you in 3 weeks despite promising 3 days, yet he would post another deal and you will run to him then pay, why cant you tell him to use his debt as payment for the deal? Some buyers too are greedy, stop comparing deal hunter prices, we buy from different sources and as such prices would vary, dont goan be telling a deal hunter that someone sold it for you at a particular price so he should also sell to you at that price. If a price is not okay by you, move on and goan look for okay price, that okay price you're looking for, you would see it.

Finally, it high time Seun and other Super mods set up a panel or appoint 2-3 people asides from the Mod here that can oversee bad business and other "fraudulent" issues on this section of the forum. This is a market and its very obvious the mod here is not always available to thoroughly investigate and give judgment accordingly, even in physical markets there are always issues like this. Like the elders will say, where there's no head, there's no tail, where there's no rule, there's no sin. As long as there are not strict rules guiding transaction between a deal hunter and a buyer, these issues will continue to happen and the only the few God fearing people will be able to do what is right. Issues happen only once in a while and when the people involved are called out, they respond positively and settle their issues in a short period. It's war in other threads and sections, like the currency exchange thread where people get scammed every blessed day, both buyers, sellers and traders.

I'll urge buyers here to go through deals very well and examine the deal hunter/seller involved before proceeding. There are deal hunters and sellers who have never been reported or called out here, not because they don't have issues. It's because they settle it amicably and instantly behind the scenes. There's no dignity in being called out for bad behaviour when you'll still do what you would have done without being called out.

I paid Techprodigy for 5 items...
First,was iPhone 7plus 128gb 03/may/19
Second was 2 iPhone 8plus 03/may/19
And third was 2 iPhone 8 03/may/19

The iPhone 7plus was the first item that got to Nigeria, Techprodigy picked it...I asked him if the phone was in perfect condition,he said yes...I was with my buyer when his dispatch guy brought the phone and I found out that the camera wasn't working after Techprodigy told me he tested it..I gave the dispatch guy the phone back..took him over a week to refund me..
The 2 iPhone 8plus got to Nigeria and one had a bad screen,he didn't tell me.before I made payment,I asked if all the phones are in mint condition,he said yes...this took almost a week before I could get part of the money for screen...

Techprodigy scammed me by sending 2 pics of different colors of iPhone 8 telling me to make payment that Lionlee has gone to pick them up..
I made payment for 2 iPhone 8 on the 4th of may 2019...
When items got to Lagos,he told me it was only 1 Lionlee picked that he would send the remaining iPhone 8 the following Monday..

Since then ,I have been hearing different stories about the phone and I told him to refund me cos I already refunded my buyer..

It's almost a month now and I haven't gotten my money and I'm not accepting part payment cos I was scammed and 3 days from now would make it a month...

Asked for imei w no send. To send phone I paid for come be wahala. Even sent invalid waybill no. He later sent it. The Face ID wasn’t working I sent it back to him. I paid for it ooo. He promised to send another. After a week no show. The person canceled the deal cos I ran out of what to tell him. To return money sef Na war. Techprogody you need to change
