Did anyone apply for cognitive science at Tu Kaiserslautern, and have you gotten feedback?

I applied. Sent them a mail a couple of weeks back, they said there were going to get back to me late may. Till now, no update from them.

Hello group, I will like to ask if anyone in this group knows any school that is offering masters of science in Germany that I can still apply to for this winter semester...i really wish to enrol for this winter semester and I will appreciate it if I can get help from this group.
Bro, what course exactly do you want to do cos within a school, different programs have different deadlines

I'd advise you make use of
1. daad.de
2. Google
3. Mastersportal

Also you keep saying social Sciences courses. What course exactly and what is your undergraduate course, social Sciences is not a course
my undergraduate course is political science. I am actually looking at masters in either political science, international relations, public policy or admin or any related course

Bamstar007:

I will advice you to search for schools on your own, check everywhere Daad, study.in, google, search like your life depends on it, you know what you want and nobody can help you like you will help yourself
There should still be some free tuition schools and don’t run away from 1500€ schools if you have BA (my advice tho)
boss I have checked and am still checking. I just feel I shouldnt close my mouth also. Reason why I brought my matter here

Ahn Ahn Boss courses full ground na, as some persons adviced here don't totally rule out uni-assist schools.. Use the appropriate portals you will surely get one and mind you some schools deadline have not yet reached even if you miss out this winter, there's still summer so there's time to make necessary research

Guys, please I if any school should offers you admission and it happens that you are no longer interested or you've got a better offer from another school. what you should do is to quickly write to them to decline and ask them to give your slot to another Nigerian applicant.

This is very important please.....

Holding on to a study place which you Don really need while other people who need it are being rejected is evil and wicked.
I quite agree with most of what you've said. A benefit of having multiple admissions is the privilege of checking out for the one that suits one most, based on personal wants. And it is expedient to reject other offers so that people who are also qualified can be admitted, especially for courses that are restricted by numerus clausus (NC)

As regards the bolded, what if the next person qualified for the admission space isn't a Nigerian? We can only advise the admissions committee though, but I'm sure the advise won't count as they will offer the space to the next qualified candidate, Nigerian or not.
So I think the best way to put the message will be to decline the offer and request that the next qualified candidate be offered the space. In that way, we're being fair to all smiley

Thanks for your responses. But did you send any documents to them through email or by post? And did you fill two separate application form for the program?.
Right now, the application has 2 phases : online and offline.
For online, follow the course website to the school portal. Register and start filling in your details on the portal. When you are done with the filling, submit, print out the completed form and sign it.
That's part 1

Next, go back to the course website and download the offline application form. Open it on your system and start filing the details. Print it out directly like that because it's not a document you can save and continue later. So prepare all you need to type.
After printing, staple your passport to the space on the form requesting for it.
That's part 2.
Next, get an empty CD, put it in a system and copy your bachelors project to it. Use a marker to write your name on the CD.

When these are done, send all of them via postmail (including your certified or uncertified copies)

Initially, I missed part 1, so when my documents got there, I was mailed to register online and send the completed application form to them via email.

someone here (mic01) have been demanding for the social science courses, which I believe you must have noticed. kindly refer him to the courses you came across. Give and it shall be given back to you with good measures.

As per your request, you still need to dig further since you are avoiding uni-assist, and moreover time is not your best friend if you are targeting winter admissions.

Quick ones, guys!

The copy of transcript i would need to send to Uni-assist or to schools (for schools that use direct hard-copy application), is it the original or photocopy Of course, i know i would need to get it notarized.

Also, my first choice courses/schools have only winter intake, and considering that the deadline for winter application is upon us, there isnt much that i can do. Is it possible to apply to any of my second choice courses with Summer intake, then when i go over there, i can apply for my desired course and re-start my studies by Winter??

Thank you for dis info but unfortunately none I can apply to. It is either there application deadline is closed, charging of tuition fees and they not offering social science courses. It seems I may have to wait till next year fall session. My expectations dis year is cut short already.

Not necessarily, by social sciences what type of course are you going for? Probably be specific you’d see people that can help. If you try hard you can still make it this winter, that’s if you really want to. Summer is not bad as well
