It will take time to be regular but note that EBF is not birth control. You can get pregnant while doing EBF so take proper precautions

Wishing you all the best

Your body might still be adjusting but you can do a PT to keep your mind at rest.
Please keep in mind that EBF is not a family planning method ooo grin grin

Sebamed healing cream works wonders for rashes.. maybe you should see a paediatric Dermatologist. Other mamas will contribute okay

Hello Mama's, I've been crying since morning. My son will be 3months old in few days time. 7 days after his birth, we noticed his nose was blocked. My neighbor asked us to drop silverbird on that soft spot pulsating on his head. Later, she said we should mix one small cap (that of the silverbird with his baby oil). MIL apply it on his head 2ce daily. I later discovered few weeks ago that the oil haa burnt is scalp badly. I've stopped using it but I'm not happy cos he has burns and its peeling anytime I comb d hair. He use to have a full, black long hair but now d hair is cutting. The most scary one is the soft spot.. It's peeling too. I'm taking him to d hospital on Thursday cos we have an appointment then. Please, what can I apply on his scalp for now. Please.

I've made mistakes as a FTM, I won't allow anyone dictate what to do to my baby once I give birth to my second baby.

Why wait till Thursday? Today is just Monday o..

Silverbird(eucalyptus oil is an essential oil and very potent too) never administer essential oils directly on the skin. Even when mixing with carrier oils, a drop or two is ok.

Again, check if its cradle cap too. You can apply plenty oil(i use coconut oil) and then comb out.
wash with baby hair shampoo afterwards.

when you are less busy, go thru past posts on this thread prior to when you joined. Note down what has worked and what hasn't in different scenarios. You will learn a thing or two. (That's what i did)

Silverbird is too powerful for adults let alone babies. My baby was having something like catarrh when I gave birth to him. I went to the Dr and she said it would clear on its own but I can use Silverbird for steam inhalation if I want. I did steam inhalation twice and then read on fb where a woman said that she lost her sense of smell after using Silverbird immediately I stopped using it. Truly the catarrh cleared on its own. Please I advise all mums here to join atp(ask the paedetrician) on fb. Sorry momma I believe your baby hair will still grow. My baby had full hair but now the hair chop chop for back. But I'm not bothered because I know it will be uniform soon. As for the soft spot peeling it might be cradle cap that one usually looks flaky like dandruff. U can gently comb it out after bathing baby and applying oil there because it will be soft then. Don't beat yourself momma u r doing fine but if u r bothered see a doctor. Don't cry. You are doing a great job as a mommy and your baby loves you for it. kiss

Sebamed healing cream as suggested by anitamic is simply working wonders. My baby's own was so black and wasn't good to the sights. I took her to the hospital and was asked to get it,inless than two weeks,it cleared off the rashes. Kindly try it sis.
