But their shareholders members didn't return home from NSE, they want to make sure that they offloaded at good junction.
But all doors are lock up at the moment, assuming jijo dealer enter Oando on Friday with hope of making 10% today, as all doors are lock up, it will strips them off their previous weeks accumulated %.

On UBA, AFRIPRUDENT and UCAP, I agreed with you. But on splitting Transhotel from Transcorp, I see it as purely manipulation, no matter what ever reason they want to cover it up with. I bought Transcorp IPO with fully knowledge that their main business was their Transcorp hotel government uses for most of their meeting and other activities, but to my greatest surprise hotel arm was carved out when Transcorp rises from 50 kobo to #5 after falling from about #7.5 IPO price to 50 kobo, the moment it was carved out with another public offer, the hotel arm stays on it own, even upon the claim of still remitting some return annually to its parent company being Transcorp, I still see the act as a dubious act.

Then we the shareholders was not compensated, unlike when afriprudent and UCAP was carved out from UBA, we the shareholders became automatic shareholders of the three companies, which my own shares holding are still their in my portfolio with CSL.

Transcorp been the parent company of Transhotel fall back to 50 kobo before picking up again, while Transhotel move to #7 then. Since then I lack interest in Transcorp, no good EPs or dividend come from them again, they suppose to be selling at 70 kobo, if the company manage to come up again to #4, I am tell you the power and oil sector will be carved out again.

Infact am not see it as company Tony has genuine interest in, the way he has for UBA, AFRIPRUDENT and UCAP. SEC should carry on investigation too in Transcorp.

For your mind you will bail out at #4 grin grin then other companies below its categories will be heading to #6, you will be expecting Transcorp to hit #10, only to wake up hearing that power section has been carved out, you will get yourself back to 50 kobo, if the eventually open door for you. grin

This is surely getting messier and sweet grin grin grin grin

this story tie in the recent Intels Court Judgment of N4b against Oando (Atiku own substantial / controling interest in intels and that is his cash cow / war money machine).

its also potrays the italian guy i mentioned earlier (Volpi) as not on the side of Wale (which cld be disastrous for Wale) though i doubt this story as he (the italian) has a kind of Cross shares in O and O which is Wales major vehicle in Oando and the fact that this story from independent story hinted of a court case in UK (possibly instituted by Ansbury i.e. Mangal baby) forbiding the italian from voting in upcoming AGM

as said earlier Mangal is brutal and has ethnic alignment in his favour

what i sense is that Oando is about to turn profitable as partly evidenced by recent reports and signs oil prices has finally bottomed (between lower 40s and lower 50s) hence it is about to become a cash cow hence d dirty fight for control.

The decider wld be whose side the italian guy eventually takes.

Wale is about to have the fight of his life (this fight would eventually welcome him into the comity of men if he survives it,unfortunately this set of pple are not ojora's / unipetrol board that he rode roughshod over way back)

As said earlier my prayer is that they fight dirty on the stock exchange, so that we commoners / retailers can reap some benefit from the War.

N.B whenever the war spill over to market it might first be in form of dumping (a la Dangote Vs Otedola AP/ Forte oil war of recent memory) before it would eventually turn to bidding war (a la same AP/Forte oil rise back to abt 300 or as experienced in Caphotel i.e. the Ibru.

N.B im very heavy here and ready for any eventuality (up or down) cos most of the cost had been provisioned for on my balance sheet so whoever reads this might want to exercise caution

my take two one and half year ago when this war first broke out

the first bold i still stand is the spoil of war, yes wale has divested (and to a large extent sales to himself and cronies) most of other subsidiaries to supposedly pay for debt incurred on COP, but the interest in the upstream asset bought is still intact and cash generating, so whatever the forces fighting wale now (i cant decipher the force yet) is saying is that having taken other part of the old Oando for himself he shld leave the upstream asset for them as other stakeholder

the second bold i also maintain wld determine wether wale wld move from the realm of boys to men in the macheviallian/ macbeth nature of corporate Nigeria

the third i sense is what is about to happen and is so the proper case study to guide wld be the Ibru famuly / Ikeja Hotel saga

n.b as stated 1.5 years ago im vested here though the full cost had be written off from my balance sheet against profit brought abt by the lesson i picked from following the COP deals
