Pls my friend is in a dilemma, she applied to Manitoba, her cousin is her sponsor they called her sponsor 2weks ago from ircc he didn't pick up but they later called my friend to send all convincing document to be sure if truly they are blood related, after she sent all the document including throwback pictures of them together, they now called the sponsor again yesterday he didn't pick, the vo called my friend again yesterday that to ask why her sponsor was refusing to pick his phone and his email bounced back too that they don't usually call applicant, now the vo told my friend to give her sponsor his phone number to call him. The problem now is that my friend's cousin has refused to talk to her since yesterday it seems he is not willing to help her further. Pls in the event that he is not willing to call them to confirm their ties what will happen to my friend? It seems his mind has been poisoned by someone he wants to back out from helping her and they are very close that he released all his info at the beginning. Pls help find a solution. Thanks 2 Likes |

Kuntos: To me o, the thing don cast na. The so-called sponsor has backed out. What solution are you looking for? Your friend should only pray not to be banned for misrepresentation; your friend should just try to prove to IRCC that the cousin was really the sponsor but that the sponsor seems not to be ready to further his sponsorship, the reason of which you cannot tell. Next time, one really has to be sure who they are using to claim sponsorship or sibling relationship, because it is surprising why a so-called sponsor will want to put someone in trouble. 16 Likes 1 Share |

johnnybravo1990: Yeah... Even if she's able to prove the guy is related to her, the application is still most likely going to be rejected cause the whole essence of sponsorship is lost if the supposed sponsor ain't willing to go on with it. This is really sad. 8 Likes |

prettyamebo: Two bodies in Nigeria currently providing IELTS exams. British Council and MOD IDP. British Council charges 75k per exam and 15k for remark. MOD charges 68k per exam and 45k for remark. Also if you're writing the IELTS for immigration to Canada there's a lot of information you really need to get familiar with on page 1, you won't regret it 4 Likes |

johnnybravo1990: No be small casting, it would have been better if the guy said no from the beginning sef. Carry her reach middle of water then tell her to walk. If you didn't trust her or something why give her the go ahead at all. What If she gets banned now, that's it for her till the next 5-10yrs, no Canada, America, UK them them. After this one ehn, plus you plus your full nuclear and extended family are in my black book forever, generational quarrel only God go tell me to stop. 11 Likes |

I totally agree. You will just leave and come back in 30mins, only to see that it’s already extra 3pages. Go through the thread and you will find out that all the question asked are all on page one. It’s so tiring. I hardly even come here spinner500: 3 Likes |

Even though some people are asking questions they can get on google or searching through nairaland its better to ignore than call them out. Its not easy digesting all that page 1 info. If you are worried about page size truth is there is nothing new again as every thing are on the older threads.is that not how a friend already in canada said i should use iqas for ECA only to find out on nairaland i had a cert WES evaluate and i could use for 2 or more degrees. Iqas refunded me but my 35k transcript and 13k for posting of certificate was lost. Let them ask biko 8 Likes |

So, WES decided to burst my bubble and fall my hand, faxing my ND and HND Statement of Result to WES was the first thing I did after payment. My status was updated 'we received your documents bla bla bla', numerous emails and two months of inactivity later, I got an update that WES has ACCEPTED my documents save for my statement of Result which has not been RECEIVED. so status was put on hold oh. Okay, no problem, sent another fax immediately and after about 24hours, my timeline was updated as 'we received your documents bla bla bla' again. Fast forward to 35 days of back and forth emails I got another update that all documents has been accepted except my ND and HND Statement of Result which has not been received. I don't understand again ohh, please someone should help me out. I personally faxed Hubby's certificate to WES myself and we are waiting for verification from his school, I don't understand what is going wrong. This matter Don tire me ohh. |

Hi, good day all. Please at what stage will IRCC contact our employers or ex employers? Also, it's exactly a week I did my biometrics, is it possible to know my Visa office now? If not, how long do I have to wait. Lastly, how can somebody outside Canada call IRCC, at least just to know the stage at which my application is at the moment. Thanks all 3 Likes |

Bubblefairy: I am just thinking, did you fax black/white or colored? I "think" they want a photocopy, and it should look black/white. I had this experience when I evaluated with WES USA for my master's. I told my friend in US to print the scanned copy and send to them. He printed colored and after few days of receiving the document, I was told they are yet to receive it. Just like in you case. Later my friend printed out black/white and send to them. This was accepted without additional request. If you faxed colored, then try black/white, otherwise, maybe it is some other issue. 1 Like 1 Share |

I used Hellofax to fax my statement of result and WES had no issue. The question is "did you remember to attach your WES reference number to the document you faxed?" Bubblefairy: 2 Likes |
