Some are kinda amazed coz I include Simon Moses in my presumed lineup. Lest we forget, he's 23yrs old. He was a Monster prior to his Injury and nearly signed for Liverpool.

A quick Reminder of Simon Moses!

I have always loved this guy. Dude is such a gifted player. I will pick him any day

I understand we cherish Rave of the Moment a lot on this Thread, though some Players are exempted cos they are believed for a Reason known, even being away for long due to Injury would have no case against them.

Simon Moses has outstanding Pace, solid Stamina, defensively good, can use both Feet flawlessly, can cross effortlessly, a good setpiece Taker, a mesmerising Dribbler and his shot power is excellent as well.

..... But he should be dropped from the List?!
In my own opinion, he is better than Samuel Kalu. Puts in a decent shift whenever he is called upon.

I pray he gets to move to a bigger club

Aina is better than shehu but can't really say if he's better than ebuehi

Stats-wise Aina is better than Ebuehi, though we may not admit but it's a proven Fact.

Simon was the best or second best player at Gent even when Kalu was there.

This season wasn't that good for him perhaps because he had more minutes on the RWB and LWB.

He's better than most of our Wingers not just Kalu. Onyekuru struggles anytime he plays on the right, but Simon can play both Wings conveniently.

It's very important I personally assess a player before forming an opinion about him. That's why I try to see them play with my two naked eyes because I don't trust some peeps opinions here due to some obvious reasons.

How can one say Aina is not good defensively an yet we see him play LWB, RWB, RB and LB consistently in the championship and Seria A?

What do they think Seria A is all about?

How many goals C Ronaldo manage score this season compared to la Liga?

The same Aina is a starter in Seria A and won 2 MOTM in that same position after he won that in the championship.

Some people can be very mischievous in analyzing Nigerian players just for some personal reasons known to dem.

I understand why Aina doesn't take national team seriously. It's because he knows the best are never picked.

Why should he put his club career in jeopardy for a national team that already has preferred players with automatic shirts?

Victor Moses saw the unambitious team and called it quit.
It was on this thread i was hearing how Aina was dribbled, caught unaware, out of position or lack defensive capabilities.

I remember a popular moniker who like to post anytime Aina had below average performance at Hull City on this thread to ridicule him but really surprised not to see such weekly report on Ebuehi,Shehu and Idowu whereas these guys too do have off days.

If Aina can command regular shirt at Torino and we don't have better player doing that presently in Europe then why the bashing.

Hope to see Ebuehi back who I see as the only reliable RB,LB,RWB,LWB who can shake the table not player like makeshift Shehu Abdullahi.

Jah bless you Bro. We keep saying Rohr is conservative, but seem we want to be conservative with our approach towards Players selection for the Super Eagles as well.

I made the heading so clear that; it's strictly my Opinion, yet some are still saying Rohr won't play this play that. Is it Rohr Opinion?!

Aina is out best right back and he need to start there ,thou I am not the coach to consider that

A right back playing 30 games for Torino this season with about 25 starts or so ,dem think say e easy ?

After if I praise others national team e go be like say I dey look down on eagles when most of our fans like mediocrity

Even thou we are not Brazil and co ,we have to start deciding players starting for eagles according to form ,we can't keep on judging aina base on past eagles performance, how many games has aina started?how many competitive has aina played ? Play him now then if he fumbles maybe he will be benched ,not someone coming here saying aina has not been good for the eagles as if he has started 10'competitive games

I will pick a Torino consistent player over a relegated bursaspor player that only managed 13 games this season due to injury

To play 30 games for Torino team no be beans ,Torino is a team with large squad ,only one or 2 African full back can achieve that

Concerning Ola Aina, I think that he hardly inspires confidence when playing for SE, especially in his primary role.-defending. I just don't know what it is, but there's always something wrong.
Perhaps, playing in a better league could mean he's better than Shehu, or maybe he needs more time with the SE for proper evaluation.

I think the complain about Aina is very obvious. He is a good footballer. He just has a concentration issue for 90 minutes. That's why he plays mostly as a LWB in Torino. He always get carried away forgetting his primary defensive duties.

Tyrone Ebuehi full Season at A. D. Haag vs Ola Aina full Season at Torino Comparison Stats.

Season 2017/18 Stats of both Players is also attached. Sentiment Aside, Ola Aina is better than both Shehu and Ebuehi.

We should rather hope he replicate the Club Forms in GWG.

Do. you know I am amazed Oasis007. I am truly amazed Bro, I've been here for about six months or thereabouts and I didn't spot you all this time. Politics Section Yoruba Warrior. Nice cover. Upvote.

I started frequenting this thread around that preworldcup period Safari, Chriskels and Supernerd used to be at loggerheads with certain monikers here day and night. I didn't understand then. Now I do. Another tournament has come and now you and Forgiveness are taking your warrior seats.. Interesting.

So in essence, your argument for Aina's inclusion is simply your disgusting tribalism. Continue arguing rubbish, you've been made.

Kog45 I see your argument is also towing the same path. I was a tad surprised, so. you're also an Odua warrior? I actually respected you around here. Interesting.

Well, you're free to express your silly tribalistic views here. Personally, I don't think it's sensible to bring tribal sentiments into NATIONAL TEAM discourse so I don't do that. It's called a National Team for a reason.

I'm just watching you from the other side of THE DIVIDE.

I trust Rohr to pick the best or at least something close.

In my opinion, Moses Simon should be on the plane to Egypt. He absolutely deserves it....this is a player who can do a lot of things for the team.
The only thing that should stop him is lack of fitness, or injury.
