We are not talking about dollars share and invoices because marvel always flood the market with their trash comics. It should be a shameful thing that marvel releases more comics in a month than any other company but can't grab the top position.

For a reminder, no comics company produces just superhero comics, they also produce graphic comics, novels, magazine etc. Factors all this and you will know why marvel had the highest market and dollar share.

When They See Us is a masterpiece.
Ava Duvernay is really good at writing and directing...i have hope for New Gods.

But I have to admit Ava is a mysterious filmmaker.
I still can't believe that the director of masterpieces like Selma and When They See Us butchered A Wrinkle In Time.

The lady is really good.
I will be surprised if she doesn't win an Emmy this year.

You should check out When They See Us.... It's hands down the best drama series of the year.

I just hope Ava treats New Gods the same way.
She's really good even though she has the tendency to mess up sometimes.

The funny thing is that no MCU film (apart from avengers films) made a billion dollars on their own. From iron man3 to BP to CM, they all rode on the waves of the avengers movies. Meaning, they won't have hit a billion without avengers hype.

Unlike DC that despite the huge negative buzz after JL, Aquaman still went ahead and made a billion. For now, I don't think any MCU or marvel film can do such.

That's why far from home is highly depending also on endgame hype.

DC is still boss!!
