I mean if Seun has access to the backend, a lot of these spamming:bet9ja, sex positions would been curbed.
What does it take to enforce some policies ? For example, only accounts that are over 2 weeks old can post external links or post images as it is obvious that these spammers create accounts every second using temporary email services. What does it take to make sure that only authentic email addresses are used for signups? What does it take to ban URLs that are not some weeks old because what these spammers do is to create a new blogs as soon as their url is banned and redirect it to their main blogs. It’s not as if Seun and the mods are not aware of these acts but the annoying thing is that they seem to be helpless about it.
Most things are going artificial intelligent. Image recognition can be useful in curbing this surge of spamming. A good AI can recognize patterns of images posted by these spammers and delete and ban them !

The sooner Seun started seeing his forum as a business the better !

This site needs a facelift. Give us a new version! Backend optimization is not enough! We want front end too. Hiring mods is not enough... hire programmers too.

You couldn't have said it any better.....most people, myself Included, love this forum with passion, so it pains to see it being ruined and tarnished by spammers, scammers and louts alike. The forum is managed like we still in the cave age. No upgrades, no changes, even as the world is advancing. No Nairaland app we can download, the report button is a sham as the comment is deleted and can't be recovered. The Mods are power drunk individuals looking for whom to vent their fury on. I believe this forum can do better in terms of upgrading and change. The founder should please do the needful. The bet9ja guys alone are enough to sit up and make changes to how accounts are opened. Proper verification is needed, like steemit does.
